i paid for my first car outright nissan micra £900, insurance dad paid it i paid it back within 2 months, not too bad as i was only earning £57 a week (apprentaship) + paid for my own driving lessons etc. second car still on the apprentaship, earning £90 a week now (wohoo) so took a loan out and...
heh ive been thinking the same thing! you can get them as cheap as £80 but i dont think they are much cop at that price, i was looking at a sony and a cannon, both at just over £300, but then you have to add on all the extras.
ive heard the x-plode subs and to be honest i wasnt that impressed sounded a bit flappy, and as usual with sony are overpriced for what they are. IMHO of course!
right at the mo ive got 2 x 12" subs but i want to save weight so im thinking of getting a duel voice coill one. i have a mono block amp with one output so i presume i wire the + of the amp to + on one coil, the - of the amp to the - of the other coil then link the remaining + and - together...
evil ice was at bass junkies on sunday in wolverhampton, didnt see him put it on the db meter though. car still looking the same but a lot of the painted interior was looking a bit tatty.
ah north wales, isnt that where the cheif of police is just hammering speeders and leaving all real criminals to do watever they want? and im sure he made some comment on how herion isnt really that bad! muppet!
take out your boot carpet, trace onto mdf, cut out hey presto, false floor that fits your boot! remember, if the floor is raised the shape may vary slightly so may be best to make it slightly (few mm) bigger than you want then keep taking it down till it fits perfect.
i got a clifford with the anti car jacking thing where it locks the doors automatically when you start the car. some parts of walsall/west mids i put the window up enough so no theiving scum can get there filthy mits on the keys when you are waiting in traffic, or in a carpark.
its definately in the manual and its definately to do with overidding the immobiliser. unfortunately someone has moved my manual so i cant scan the page in. someone did it before but i cant remember what the thread was called which had it in!
go to cliospares in wolverhampton, they will point you to the paintshop across the road (cant remember the name of the place) they should be able to give you a decent quote.
think you will pay a liitle more than £600 for a full respray. i paid £1800 and that was the cheapest quote i got, (except for one dodgy geezer who said he could get it done for £400 - muppet) most places want over 2k. to be honest if most of the paintwork isnt that bad, you wont need a full...
it is in the owners manual, it is to do with overriding the immobiliser, i did a search there is about 5 different posts asking the same thing but i cant find them now!
i have driven a civic vti-s, pretty quick would give a standard valver a run for their money, the one i drove had 95k on the clock and was still in very good condition. but the handling is a bit pants!
mine is the intergrated one, and it has never worked, it makes the noise and all the pipes are connected, (i think) tried the pin trick but no luck! even the front ones are tempremental and i lose the water quickly. i have taken the washer bottle complety out and cant find any leaks!?
What sub is it? Have you built the box to the right size that the sub needs? It will say on the Instructions, (if you have any) if the box will need a port and what size box it will need. Ported boxes are usually a lot larger than the non-ported ones.
