ahhhhhhh! dont do that matey! head units are not designed to run at lower ohms which is what you have done by bridging it. Also the sub will not be getting enough power. You WILL knacker both if you keep it like that.

not if hes only 17 mike! probably looking at close to 2k insurance on an rt as a first time driver, is say get the rt, fantastic car, enough power to start with, get some no claims then move up to the valver later.
