i hope there isn't a quest later on that involves working with/befriending the talon mercs at fort bannister?
i stumbled across it last night and couldn't resist fighting my way in, although i couldn't get the door unlocked to the bunker, i went into the officer's quarters and had a...
my hybrid mashup does this every now and again
i'm 99% sure i have traced it to a dodgy ign live to the ecu at the connector plug, worth having a poke around with a multimeter for peace of mind for sure :)
i bought this a few weeks back
on level 5 at the mo, really enjoying it.
one question though (it might have been answered but i'm not reading the whole thread!!) when and where do you get dogmeat (i presume he is like a companion type dog, and not one of the biters i keep coming across)...
Re: My mk1 track car blog
fit the gauges last friday, just need to wire them up (yet more wiring!!)
and then went to sort out my oil cooler setup for the last time only to find i don't have a deep 23mm (i think thats what size it is) socket to tighten up the bolt
so resorted to...
i think 206's are like 106's in that respect
certain years and engine sizes used paper element filters, others used the traditional metal cannister type
my 02 106 uses a paper element
Re: My mk1 track car blog
it's work in progress ;)
i haven't finished yet, need to wire up my new gauges, after that it can all be tidied up and tucked away :D
i moved mine into the boot due to space in the bay for my induction kit, but made sure it was on the passenger side so that i was counter-balancing it when driving, not sure it makes any difference at all mind lol
Re: My mk1 track car blog

Re: My mk1 track car blog

Re: My mk1 track car blog
cheeky!
but quite true :dapprove:

i felt a bit guilty for not updating for a while, so i did a bit of work last night on the carbon fibre gauge panel, all ready to go in the car and be wired in, then i can put my oil filter back on...
Re: My mk1 track car blog

cheers guys, i was originally looking at cars around the 10k mark, but i reckon i could stretch that further especially if i hold off a bit longer (i haven't taken into account the sale of my 106 either)
i have pretty much made up my mind that it will be an R26, in white or yellow, only a...
so you think i should hold out a bit longer Darren?
i've got no problems in holding on, got my track clio to keep me occupied. i've been looking on ph and autotrader for about a month now, not many yellow or white ones come up, then a few come along at once (the right sort of age and mileage...

i've just got a job at work, client has lost not one, but two sets of keys for his car, will need recovering to the repairers, probably with the alarm screaming its knackers off! then they will need to find a way of getting into the car, full lock set and 2 sets of keys...
lmfao at pump! childish humour sorry!
is it the brackets that are damaged? if so the headlights could be out of alignment or insecure, that would be a fail.
yeh i have read comments from people on here saying prices will drop further, and this close to xmas i can't see too many people being interested in a car of that cost?
or do i wade in now and offer him a grand less than listed?
thats the problem though :o
i know i will want so much that all bartering/rational thought will go out the window, in which case would i be getting a bad deal? better to hold out?
considering the current market.....
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/824635.htm
i have valued it on glass's guide which comes out at £13100, is this still a tad high?
i'm on the lookout for one, in either liquid yellow or white
