    Apple CarPlay / USB Issues

Yes, every iPhone I've had (bar my current 7 plus) has had charging issues at least once in it's lifespan. And every time it's been fluff in the charging port. I always use a wooden cocktail stick to clean the port out.

    Noob brake question

If you want to remove them, the standard bolt is a 12mm female hex head bolt. Remove them and the caliper can be removed.

    Noob brake question

No need to remove the calipers. Just knock the 2 retaining pins out and the pads can be removed.

    I hate locking wheel nuts

What did the wheels look like after that? I've managed to remove a set of them with the rotating outer ring before. I smashed a smaller socket on and the outer ring gripped the centre and came undone.

    Exhaust fumes in the car

The vents are there to allow the pressure to escape as you close the doors. I doubt it's coming through there, maybe whilst stationary but not whilst moving. Maybe its the cat/manifold join and is only opening up under load?

Who's bringing what? Other Marques @CSF..

Never been before, but I'll book a weekend pass and come stay over. Sounds like a laugh. Not sure about track time though. Never been on track, and I'm not sure I want to start with a C63

    Temp Needle Incorrect

If you get the cluster out you should be able to separate it and adjust the needle. I'd say your fuel gauge looks a little high if that's with the power off. I assumed the OP meant that it still worked but it had dropped below the zero position (it does look very low in the picture)

    Wheel Size affect on Height

No, it'll increase the arch gap as the wheel is smaller overall. The car will sit lower to the ground, so yes you will have lowered it. But the arch gap won't get smaller.

    Contactless Drying.

I've a 50l compressor in the garage, with a flow of about 15cfm. Could I use this for drying my car? If so is there a specific attachment for this type of job I can pick up?

    Sky Cancellation

Bloody hell. My Sky Q (top package all moves, sports etc and a second box) is £35, then I pay about £45 a month for Virgin gamer 200mb broadband.

Have I bitten off more than I can chew? (new 172/dephaser content!)

The tools always sell on again easily enough though, so he'll make most of that money back. That's how I did the belts on my 197.

Have I bitten off more than I can chew? (new 172/dephaser content!)

Buy the genuine tools and follow the guide and you'll be fine. Do it yourself for the price you've paid for the car, not worth spending a fortune getting it done when you have the knowledge to do it yourself in my opinion.

    Handbrake / brake warning light

As above, it'll be the switch on the handbrake that's the problem I'd imagine. Calipers and handbrake cables won't do anything for the light on the dash.

    how to adjust b14

Just turning the helper spring will not change anything. If you think it feels softer now then it's in your head. The only adjustment is the 2 black rings at the bottom which you can use the change the preload on the springs (raising or lowering the car)

I can't see the pictures, but I suspect you have a kit for the TCE engine, which you don't have.

    Timing tools question 182.

If it doesn't feel down on power you might have got away with it. Even slightly out and you'll lose power.
  28. Chrisgti6

    Timing tools question 182.

Should be no need for marking at all. The marks would be pointless as the pulleys are all free floating and have to be loosened to tension the belt properly. That's probably not been done with the right tools tbh.

Full Intake system or just air filter?

@Matthew Headon I think we need to clear up which model of car you have. in your other thread you show a picture of a 1.2 non turbo MK3 Clio, but in this thread you say you have a 1.2 TCe? http://www.cliosport.net/threads/clio-192-fitting-an-exhaust-silencer.808058/ Put a clear picture up of...
