nobles, just down the road! where u from fella!
when i went the cups and 172s were showing around 162bhp. my 1800 made 147bhp and 123lb/ft of torque exactly as jimbos did! although iv since had k-tec manifold which has definately improved torque, and a few other bits including a run in...
yeah nicks a top fella, although i did have £2k in my bank with his name on it, and never got a phone call or email back every time i called or mailed :-(
a tuned 16v lump will be on par with a williams, but is a fair bit more expensive than a straight engine swap! if i could have found one...
mine just custs out sometimes when cold and i come to a junction. iv changed iscv and all sorts. ok after a thrash and warm though, just idles a bit low like
2 bolts are in the car. one at the front left runner and one at the rear! the other 2 are under the car! get it jacked up and they are next to the exhaust!
iv got k-tec manifold on! Im happy with it, gives a bit more torque to the old 1800! I wouldnt have paid £300+ for it but i got it a a discount price ;)
yet to be rolling roaded!
iv had one, didnt notice much, and iv got cams etc as well! now running standard ecu and its running spot on! only difference is rev limitor. unichip when i can afford it!
u may as well get it done rate mate, they are specific for your car. my mate has one on his 19 16v, and they had 3 types 2 for a clio and 1 for a spider.
the spider one worked in the end as his is a 2.0!
i want one but cant afford it hehe
yep best thinkg u can do is modify the head. You might need some bottom end work though. I was speaking to Nick Hill when mine snapped and he said he wont repair it unless the bottom end is worked on too! Due to problems 6 months down the line!
