that slide is not induced by lift off oversteer, it is due to the rear tyres having no traction, he could have gone round at any speed maintaining throttle and it still would of spun! in fact at the end it does spin without any ecouragement, as if its on ice.
so no its not lift...
you are joking me arent you! :S
lift off oversteer works at speed, not at 30mph which it looks like he is doing, look closely at the rear wheels!
lord give me strength!! :banghead: :slap: :headno:
sounds like you have been sent or ordered the wrong pads there, i had the same trouble with a set which turned out to be for an rsi iirc
unless as above you haven't wound the piston back in fully
are they the paints that have been discontinued/made illegal due to the toxins in them? as the paint had hardener in it already meaning they didnt technically need lacquer?
whereas modern water based paints are very soft and need lacquer to protect them against uv and scratches etc
simple answer is......read the instruction of whatever you sprayed it with, if it says apply lacquer then do it
odds on it says you need to use lacquer
i came across these beauties  taking it to a WHOLE new level!

yeh £130 all in
and i'll soon tell you if all boss kits fit as i'll be fitting it to my mk1 omp boss (says it fits momo, sparco, sabelt wheels so should be reet)
Re: My mk1 track car blog
came into work this morning, parcel on my desk, opened it up.......
its my sabelt renaultsport steering wheel :D :D :D
well chuffed with service from R sport and big thanks to D4ve for his help
thing is on initial ignition it closes the relay momentarily, thus priming the fuel lines ready to start
but then doesnt seem to close it again under cranking, so im wondering if its a sensor not telling the ecu the engine is being turned over, want to rule this out before i set about messing...
hmm i will have to look into it at the weekend :(
well im pretty sure im not getting either spark or fuel, but without taking injectors out im not 100% on no fuel, definately no spark though!
you dont mean the cps do you? that has 2 wires? and you dont mean the speedo drive as yours will be mechanical like mine!
where exactly does the speed sensor plug into on the box (ie top back, side, bottom etc)
please god let this be the answer to my non starting problem! :quiet:
right the small earth at the back comes out of the loom around where it branches off one way for starter, another way for ecu, and another for injectors etc
the speed sensor with the 3 wires, where does that plug into? dont remember connecting that :o
