Front grill (£45 I think)
Rear spolier as well.
ALso you'd idealy want spacers as the front suspension is wider on a 172.
Total list price was something like £2k last time I looked. Not including painting. You'd get it from a breakers yard etc cheaper but its still a lot as when you add it...
If the lights doesn't go out the car won't start the imobiliser is still locked as the ECU hasn't recognise that you have the right key.
There tow possible problem the way to check is to use your other key.
Most likly the other key will be the same in which cse its the transponder ring...
The Germansy love there figures.
Regardless of grip I didn't like the way they were. I recon I could go quicker and safer on less grippy tyres which I prefer the compound.
All cars behave differently though I've drive a 182 on T1R's and it seemed fine I didn't push it to the limit though.
£1.5k or so for the bits then asuming nothing wrong you'd want to chnage the belts and cluth so £200 there then new brakes line £200 then £100 on new decient fluid filters etc and then an induction kit so £150 or so.
You could do it for under £2k but if you find out your box is broken then...

Oval plate
The oval plate on the Mk2 Clios is found on the bottom the the drivers side pillar down by the sills. It tells you a lot about the car the example below is a 1.4 16V (see the list above for a conversion) the...
If there was a recall your car should have had it. Ring Renault UK if you want to check.
Need to go to a garage with a computer to be able to read the code or Renault to find out what the error is.
Yep I agree.
Off topic I know but why not use your stand alone ECU on your car cuts down the wiring potential problems plus get rid of the box the looms are lily to be similar anyway for the turbo box so its not like you'll be throwing money away.
Different ECU maps though to make the extra power plus its got a whole different cat and exhaust system which are better.
You never said what milage your is on I don't think assuming 30k
Part-exchange Price:
Excellent condition: £3880
Average condition: £3510
Below average condition...
Martins after he's striped it would be an easy win I'd expect.
How much is a Mk1 shell instead of a Mk2 worth HP wise? Since TheJesus says (and so does BenR) there faster for thhe same HP.
HP sells though. Don't you sell 200hp kit?
Renault made the
172 normal car first called the full fat my many on here it has the leather seats Climate control etc.
Then they made the 172 Cup no abs basic interier different suspension wheel etc
Then they made the normal 182 again called full fat and the owners had an option of Cup...
You've flooed it by the sounds.
Err this isn't a good idea as its not good for the cat but put youer foot on the accelerator and then start the car you'll get a huge big ploom of black smoke but it will start.
I guess you've been moving the car about for very short movments when you do this...
Depends what its like at the front but you want the front of a Clio lower then the back for handling otherwise well you'll find you go straight on when you turn the wheel.
Its to much effort realy buy a 172 and make it look like a 1.2 is much better. Do a tranplant and the parts costs become irrelevent you always need other bits.
Its only worth it if its free labout even then its not worth it realy unless you have a unique car.
1.2 and 2.0 shells are exactly...
