the clio may be 4k cheaper but the depreciation will be drastic and in 3 years time youll get about 6k for it. the clios a big girls car anyway, the ctr is far superior
My sister paid £17k for hers in 2001, she wanted to sell it last year...
man, it was two tenths - two tenths of a second in it. Get over it, two tenths is feck all, Tiff might have changed too soon, or maybe scratched his b****cks mid bend - who cares! TWO TENTHS!
I wouldnt say "x is better than y". Two great cars, great performance, great handling. The 182 is...
Well, the Leon Cupra R lapped the same day/track as the CTR on fifth gear and was 1.1 seconds slower than the CTR.
You think a 182 Cup cant outlap the vanilla flavoured Cupra R?
Tiff does love the Type-R and will definitely favour it more than the 182 Cup, particularly since the 182 Cup...
If i went to get a custom exhaust done and said;
"make it sound like one of http://www.aoth56.dsl.pipex.com/zorst.wmvthese;) !"
Chance would be a fine thing.
I have the same car/colour as you.
I feel for you mate, weve got a starling nest in the eves of the house and my car gets shat on every day of the week.
Ive actually been out this evening to wash it, and when i came out after getting an old sponge to do the wheels, it had be shat on again...
http://www.caraudiodirect.com/ - they do the InCarTec ones - about £35 all in for both parts. Depending on the headunit, no need to remove the dash, I have the Alpine 9851R and i didnt need to.
However, Alpine do their own stalk/car interface adaptors (Tom has them, ask him for part numbers)...
Once its warmed up, drive it like i stole it and use all available power, unless im driving in residential or 30/40 mphs.
Even then, ill rag it to 7000 rpm in first gear, then block change into fourth.
172/182 was never made for easy driving, if thats your thing, sell it and get a Ford...
If its a standard WRX i would have thought it would top out at about 145 ish?
It does seem to get rapid at the top end quite quickly, or the V6 slows down suddenly or runs out of puff quickly.
I pay about £900 ish with Admiral, im 24, 0 NCB with three claims: one fault, two non-fault.
I did a quote with elephant for when i need to renew (about September) including 1 years NCB and it was about £740.
Some things to consider John that ive had to chew over myself:
- try adding the car to your policy temporarily. Admiral let me insure an additional car for a week at a time, i did this when i was running the Fez and the 182. Basically i only insured the Fez when i needed it for a week at a...
Hardly ever see other 182s out, then i see two in the same place at the same time.
Black 182, 05 plate, both cup packs.
Racing blue, reg unknowsn, both cup packs.
Both at the Gyle Centre roundabout, Edinburgh.
Both cars turned my head, nice rasp to the 182 when you hear it from...
You mean the temperature gauge on the dash is all over the place?
Hows the car performing otherwise?
My 182 had a failed coolant temperature sensor (along with a fair few other 182 owners) which caused the temperature gauge to go up and down randomly, along with the revs of the car locking...
