There are Mk1 Clio shells all over the forums, usually just rolling and end up getting scrapped when people dont want them. Bare standard shell wont be worth much with a bit of searching, few hundred quid max... I sold my bare valver shell (caged/painted/rust free) for £1k.

We saw the Exige and RS250 go past us on the back section of the Evo... I was in a Black E46 touring, Dale in his Red Mk1 and another mate on his bike/r1.. We saw the police/ambulance near the cafe/wall too and feared the worst, saw alot of people over the wall so thought something had happened..
Good turnout as expected but the whole messaround getting to SP was a joke... something as simple as a post code would have made things a lot easier for everyone. Anyway good to catch up with some of the people back from the early days of meets, Giles, P@blo, Brett etc etc. Few of us ended up...
Had a good laugh at that video lol. As for the color, itl be some sort of grey I think, nothing looks as mean on the E30 than a grey/black IMO - dont want anything mad bright/stand out either!

Windy sunroof will have to do for now until I decide what I'm doing cage wise/got the car running/set up...

Bad thing is you cant plate the sunroof on them like a Clio etc, as they are an actual body panel which goes under the roof. Just going to end up painting it and fitting a manual mechanism I think!
Probably... But personally I just dont like red lol. There was no reason for the LHD originally, was just local/solid/had no sunroof and had the MTec kit on it so bought it as something a bit different.

As mentioned above I collected a bare shell on Friday evening, got round to unloading it today. Moved the black car over to one side and managed to get them sat next to each other in the garage so everything can be swapped in one go.

Picked up a bare shell this evening, right effort (5hr) getting it off its stands onto the trailer. Going to unload it on Sunday so il do a bit of an update after that!
Giving it thought at the moment as the only downside with it is its got a sunroof, but im just going to have to go with it I think. Also it would need blitzing inside and out with a paint gun along with the mtec kit so everything matches, only a weekends job I guess.
Yeah I know a couple of people that could do it it too, but thats the only downside having to trailer it somewhere to show someone. I'd have to pull the engine out anyway to get full access to it all - then im already 60% of the way there to a re-shell as the other stuff can be done in one hit...
Nah. More than likely sprung to highly or had the damping set too stiff (brand new shocks) - as mentioned a couple of posts back I hadn't adjusted the damping considering it was probably only the 5th lap, rears were set at approx 18-20clicks off soft, they go upto 50odd. I would say it wasn't...
If we were back in September/October I would have possibly considered it.... but coming upto spring/summer I just dont have the spare time to research/build/fabricate something like that lol
