Timing was bang on this evening, absolutely perfect.
Car seemed to run fine, then the issue randomly started (seems like a missfire, but not spark related). Its like an injector is being unplugged, then all of a sudden everything goes back normal again. Very weird!
Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77
Should just screw a bolt in a couple of threads then take it out once the powdercoating is done, nothing will get in the thread then... I did similar on brackets last time I had stuff done
As long as the cam pullies were not touched it would be fine to remove the cambelt and swap the pump to a new one, as itl always time back up the same. It would only need mapping again if you touch the floating pullies as they are set now, which you dont need to so a waterpump change would be...
If the bottom (crank) bolt wasnt replaced when the cambelt was done it could have done, if thats the case it will need a new crank bolt...
Im going upto Bishop Auckland one evening this week I think to pick something up, how far are you from there? I can call and check it for you if its not too far

Il PM you now for the address, il send the emulator tommorow.
Well, ive literally just been upto my Clio and tried the ECU on it..... does not work!
I find it hard to believe as when Adam had his original (old) loom on, we put my ECU onto it and it would not work. So I took it back to my car to check it, and it started first time. Then took it back to...
Well - Andrew Cooke has confirmed Adams is knackered, so I'm guessing his old loom f*cked it up. Then plugging mine into the old loom must have knackered it too... since fitting the new 172 loom it made no difference meaning mine is probably knackered... especially seeing this other one we...
Purchased this: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?559811-Phase-one-unlocked-ECU
And it started first time. Seems my ECU might be f*cked now too.............meh. F*cking w*nk emulated ECU's and conversions FTL, cant wait til its gone at the end of this year!!!
Its sort of stopped doing it now, lol - to be honest I think they were doing it so bad because the discs were being used with DS2500's beforehand, and some pad material was still on the disc. It sort of got less and less over time :dapprove:
So..... what you gonna text the brakes saying? :S
Also, I've said it before and I'l say it again... Its only a matter of time before something flicks up off the road (or probably on track) and gets sucked into that engine. Just because they are facing backwards does not mean nothing can get in...
