    Boot Build In The Midlands

What do you mean only!!!! Thats bloody day light robbery, I built a fibreglass install and the fibres, resin, etc cost me about £40 and I've still got some left!

    clio V6 kit

The only decent attempt at this was the Source demo car as it used genuine v6 parts, but thats an expensive way to go, plus you still have the problem of having huge spacers and the rear wheels will never sit right in the arch. Why not go for a s1600 kit instead, hardly ever done but looks...

    172 engine cover ?

Nope, they scraped it on the cup to save weight lol

    Jaffa's Silver 182

As Ali said, not too keen on the battery cover, but the rest is spot on, especially the dials :approve:

New ICE - Ive been busy

Its a Renault, you'll never get rid of the rattle lol. Try some Dynamat Extreme, really helps reduce rattles.

    Car Mods Oppinions??

Love those wheels, especially the gloss black with polished lip, pitty they dont come in 16s though. But if you want 17s then go for it :approve:

    Hello......... Newbie looking for advice

This is one of the most active car forums I've ever used, and is far more busy than the ones you've already mentioned. Good things come to those that wait, and people will be less likely offer help if you come across as ignorant and sl@g off the club in one of your 1st posts.

New ICE - Ive been busy

I wouldn't say that £85 was a lot, especially when it would sound vastly better. But I do understand what you're saying about cost, car modding is nver cheap :S

To tint or not to Tint?

Team Think had some for sale for about £100 iirc. Try some breakers (MATT BLACK, cliospares, etc).

    tractor needs photoshop!

I've done the other pic but photobucket isn't working :dead: You're really gona struggle to get that any lower than 40mm and still be driveable

New ICE - Ive been busy

Money doesn't have to be an issue to get a good system. (Minus H/U, sub box, and wiring) You've spent approx £255 on your setup. For another £30 you could have had the following (Which would have sounded great)...

To tint or not to Tint?

Spend the money on a 172/182 grill instead, will finish off the front end nicely :approve:

New ICE - Ive been busy

I'm sorry but you clearly know nothing about decent car audio, which shows by your choice of equipment!!! I'm not saying I'm an expert, I'm sure Dink and Muzz will show their faces at some point in the post who are probably the most knowledgable people on the site in relation to ICE. Just try...

New ICE - Ive been busy

They're not though. I'd never buy a speaker made by a company who sells blenders lol. I've posted this so many times, as have many other users on here but people just choose to ignore it. 6x9s try to be a jack of all trades, but end up falling short in every department. They will sound even...

New ICE - Ive been busy

OR, remove them, and throw them over your shoulder in the hope that they break and can't be put back in!!!
  19. hydeyho

    Look what I just bought!!!!

did you manage to pick that up from cliospares??

    Rattling back speakers

    Anyone a Microsoft Certified Professional?

I thought there were lots of different standards of certified Microsoft professionals? Some people from my old work went on a microsoft course (XP proficiency, can't remember the course code but was useful for IT/NT support) and they were away for any entire week, working with the instructor...

Cheers mate, sounds so much better than the JL12W0 that I had previously. I just need to get my ass in gear and actually get it trimmed.

    Fitting a 172/182 Bumper

As has already been said, the back goes on fine. However, to fit the front bumper you require wings and skirts too.

    Powering ICE

I'm no expert, but I would say that the battery would be the most important part to uprate as you're simply not getting enough power for all the ICE, or running split charge and having 2 batteries.
