It would probably work out cheaper to purchase wings etc. I wouldn't worry about your skirts, they only need a small section cutting out to allow them to fit the 172/182 wings.
RMS isn't everything mate.
RE make some of the best subs on the market, especially in their new range, XXX and another above (I can't remember the model name).
They will sound much better than most of the crap that pioneer, alpine, etc produce in their budget ranges.
I personally don't think...
I dont understand what you are getting at as the way in which they are wired shouldn't make any difference if you are replacing them with components. They are connected with a simple plug, the same as the door speakers, and are clipped in under the dash. Just remove them and use the wiring...
Its not a perfect shape for performance, but thats my own fault and could be easily avoided. I've had this sub in an mdf sealed enclosure and it sounds much better now as it has allowed me to increase the volume.
The main thing is to build up the layers of the fibreglass. Many fibreglass...
I'm doing some work for uni and I'm putting togther a booking system. Its for a restaurant, so I need the user to fill in an arrival time. I've put in TextInput with a max character length of 5 (ie 12:30) and a format option of {format: ""HH:NN"} but it still allows me to enter anything in the...
Here's a pic of mine so far >
Its obviously not finished yet but has only cost me about £30 for the parts and I've got loads left!!!
Its really not difficult to work with fibreglass, its just itchy and smelly lol
Unless you are a complete audiophile, you're probably best off just running your wires from the amp down to the oe wiring and just 'tag' it on from inside the car. This is what I've done with my DLS MS6's
Blue4ever - I payed £350ish to repaint front bumper + rear 172 bumper, sideskirts, door mirror covers, rear bootlock, and 172 rear spoiler. Sideskirts were from Prima but I really wouldn't recommend them as so much work was needed to get them fitted correctly.
dfifty1 - No they are Silvatec...
Its definately related to both the cold and the battery. I get it all the time in the winter, but your battery may not need replacing. The positive connections on the battery are so poor. I did this last week > http://cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=126079 and have not had a problem since...
Sorted it now anyway, was just a case of needing a couple of pairs of hands to position the wheel correctly whilst bolting it back on. I can't wait to get rid of my car now, I've loved owning it and its been great, just the usual little Renault niggles let it down.
Roll on the summer when I can...
Caramel - I was thinking about ph2s, and I'm sure they would look really good, but there's just something about the black lights that I like on my car.
Racing182 - 172 style skirts would definately look better but I just don't have the cash to change them
EvilJohn - My splitter would be...
Definately 2 seperate boxes.
However, if you are just looking for some low bass, you are better off putting your cash together to just get the 1, higher spec, sub.
Woke up this morning only for my car not to start, though it would be a simple jump start but when I lifted the bonnet I noticed just how bodged the battery was in my car. Basically the thread on top of the positive terminal was just kind of stuck on with some sort of orange glue. It was barely...
