Sweet! Good page about transient throttle here https://adaptronic.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002639106-Transient-Throttle-Conditions-and-How-to-Set-it-Up-on-Modular-ECUs
Statistically you are more likely to have another accident, after you have had an accident, even a non-fault, so this pushes your policy cost up.
Seems unfair doesn't it.
It won't. The system freaks out at any miscalibrations detected, it turns all the ABS and ESP off if you run different tyre profiles front/back for example.
Five cars, five totally different experiences... C63 AMG 507, 600hp tuned 996, Huracan Performante, and a Boxster (I do so enjoy asking him how the hairdressing course is going). I'm the poor boy of the group LOL.
I have some, in the boot, and they detach and reattach on massive strips of Hook and Loop fastener...but I quite like them, Plod hasn't nabbed me yet and I really like the fact it irks @andybond :p
New thermostat Saturday morning. Fiddly bugger, not helped by me not taking the engine covers off save the bits that come out with the dzus clips.
Future warning for other owners, the back seal on the stat is integral to the setup and as the stat opens and shuts it slides in and out of that...

Natural progression from 5GT, 9, 11, 21 Turbo up through the modern RS range with a 172, 197 and so on. Been a Renault nut since I passed my test in '96.
Brilliant lunacy. My mate has a half built, Evo engined, Cosworth 4x4 drivetrained Renault 5, if he ever finishes it it'll be unreal. Maybe he should bring it to you to finish for him lol
Mine is inside the car, behind the passenger seat, though I am using a map sensor up front and not the internal one. If i were using the internal map sensor id put it on the bulkhead in the passenger footwell.
Go to the adaptonic website for the wiring and instruction manuals, and the software installer, it all comes as one download package

Made this out of my scrap bin, for locking up the crank pulley on my Volvo S60 D5 when doing the cambelt.
Service interval is 96,000 miles so i've used it once when I made it, got another 64k to go before its needed again lol!
Service time. No wonder these things cost a fortune at garages, access sucks balls.
Anyway, it was a nice day so I pulled it out of the garage to work on it in the sun, plugs, oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, then I changed the wheels to my rough roll-around wheels and put camber...
