Statistically you are more likely to have another accident, after you have had an accident, even a non-fault, so this pushes your policy cost up. Seems unfair doesn't it.

It won't. The system freaks out at any miscalibrations detected, it turns all the ABS and ESP off if you run different tyre profiles front/back for example.

Mine is inside the car, behind the passenger seat, though I am using a map sensor up front and not the internal one. If i were using the internal map sensor id put it on the bulkhead in the passenger footwell.
