Chris - yeah 16v and Williams are both fairly rare. Ive run 3 cutches on mine so far, a standard 16v and uprated Black Diamond job - both of which I burnt out pretty easily with half a dozen standing starts. Im running a standard Willy clutch at the moment and so far no problems even though Im...
Im with you on this one Brun. Anyway I use Mobil 1 15w-50, it survives the temps in my engine and always comes out clean as a whistle. The only time I ever used supposedly similar semi-synthetic, before I knew better, it always came out looking like crude oil sludge and the engine felt rough. If...
16v can be had with everything you want but a bit of a shame to ditch the engine. Maybe if you get a real high miler with the lump at the end of its life. The fuel is regulated at 2.5 bar but this can be adjusted anyway quite easily, mine runs between 3 and 3.5 bar. There is very little space...
laguna is ok if you wanna look like a sales rep.
Theres no contest in my mind, it would have to be a Clio. Looks better, drives better, *is* better. But I suppose if you need the room for a baby seat or double glazing samples or something then get the Laguna! :D

Viceroy - MC is correct - say you have a 100 jetting to a single combined injector, its just a nominal amount that is capable of producing 100hp. However it does depend greatly on your inlet manifold design. Im almost certain that feeding a 25hp jetting into each of the four intake runners would...
You havent missed much. Just the same arguments and counter-arguments bouncing back and forth until the end of time. you wont be able to make a decision based on the threads on here...some people have *really* got a bee in their bonnet over it;)
So like I say, try it and see if you like it, if...
I just had to order a new set cos my back one fell off - Im having Gone in 14 Seconds (Im in the sub 15 second 1/4 mile bracket for those of you who are still wondering...)
Hopefully theyll leave a space next to the 14 so I can cross it out and put in 13 if I ever manage it!
I like the bit where it shows the number of posts...Im on over 3000, can anyone beat that? And I only get 3 stars as well!!!
Dont know whether thats good or bad that Ive made so many posts...

No badge I reckon. Definitely dont make it a Willy lookalike, thats lame. I often thought about this myself cos soon Im thinking about a 2.0 lump.
Debadge the whole thing and then get a small sticker made up Powered by Williams (in the proper gold font)- that will be super wicked on the hatch...
I waver on 16v vs VTS, its down to the driver, but IMHO Willy vs VTS is no match at all. The Willy would cane a VTS off the line, off a rolling start, at the top end, whatever way you wanna play it the Willy is quicker. Plus the special Willy bonus is you aint gonna see your mum driving around...
Well like I said the other night Ben, were going for the big showdown at York in October; its just as far for me as it is for you, but its a well mellow atmosphere at York and a good strip surface. Of course you have to be capable of sub-15 second runs to go home with your head held high...
yeah you better come every time Mel, you had us cracking up mate. Ill bring a coat hanger next time. I reckon my delocking plans might be on ice for a while now!
your car isnt lowered is it? If its too low at the back and then you accelerate and it squats this might affect the brake bias valve thingy and somehow make the handbrake light come on?
Ben if you wanted switches you should have mentioned it the other night...I had four of them in the glovebox! 3 up/down window switches (not one-touch) and one sunroof switch (its not illuminated like the window switches. You can have the lot for a tenner including the postage recorded delivery...
Noooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
I cant take any more Ecotek talk. Just try it. Fit the thing, decide whether you like it, if you dont they will take it back no questions asked, honestly. Make your own mind up about it...
