The alarm is still receiving signals from the ECU telling it the ignition is still on. Usually happens if you switch off, get out and lock the car too quickly. The signal is only received by the alarm for a few seconds, hence why you get a few beeps.
It can only be resolved at a Renault...
someone I work with has that gear knob on an imported DB8 Integra... so I hate to piss on your fire but you're not the only person with one in the UK. Her's is the same colour as yours as well (if they come in different colours?)

ignition to the 'on' position (engine off)
switch lights on, off, on, off and you'll hear the beeps.
they're annoying anyway, means you can't quickly flick the full beems to flash people out of junctions etc. With the auto lights on, the full beam stays on with even the slightest...
turn your front wipers off (highest position) they would have been set to auto this morning (first click)
Smart rear wiper only works if the fronts are set to auto.
