Oh year you were telling me about him, yeah Rob give Steve a bell mate.
The breakers we south essex boys use is L&R spares in East Tilbury. Check it out on 192. Theyll have what you need.
Better leads are always a good investment eg. Magnecor KV85, cos theyll always work and never need replacing again. But you definitely dont want race plugs, youll see no benefit at all and end up with oily plugs all the time thatll start misfiring unless youre actually racing full time!
Ive often talked this one over with 172 owners at meets etc. It is a big problem trying to find a decent cold air inlet on the front. Sounds funny if youve not seen under the bonnet of a 172 but it seems to be blocked up at the front for no real reason!
Foglight is the only decent option.
Where are you? Near me in Essex, theres places that can get you in for the next weekend.
To tell whether its an aftermarket cam youd need to get it out and measure it.
you said it mate. Rear was no problem at all, I think I took the sh*tguards out but thats obvious really.
I just made it up as I went along when I was doing the front, kept cutting and grinding stuff until it didnt rub any more. 3 people are no problem, Ive never had 4 in my car, in fact I...
Id clean them up first and soak up the excess oil with a long bit of paper towel poked down to get all the crap out.
Run it for a day or so and if the oil comes back then youve got a problem, otherwise its just oil that leaked down when you last refilled.
Id say the tighter the engine bay, the less you want an induction kit. You might actually see some real, if small, gains on a 1.2 with an induction kit.
Trev, as you probably know Ive been running one of your kits since last year, what you say about it running rich is interesting...is it jetted to give more fuel rather than the spot on amount? Cos when I fire my 60 jets that Nitrous Solutions sorted out, my AF ratio goes really over rich, not...
Hmmm...strictly speaking Id say the Viper is an airbox not an induction kit Capn.
Its sealed all the way so it should provide at least the performance of the original airbox and if the interior design of the box is better for gas flow then it will work better, as simple as that. Although in...
Yeah I see your point Lofty and youre right about the Toyos only having appeared on decent motors in the last few years. Still, whatever incentives there were to fit Toyos on the Evo, if they were cack, they wouldnt do it, Im sure Mitsubishi dont need the money!
Personally my only experiences...
RGM just came out with M3 style skirts, theres the Terminator kit, that other one with the twisty skirts (MCR?), Bad Girl, and the daddy IMHO the Esquiss Joker 2
And Continentals from what Ive heard. Funny how someone said they must be the best because Renault fit them at the factory, yet just about every kind of brand new car I see nowadays has them on. Couldnt possibly be cos the manufacturers get them for £5 a corner and they dont have to pay for a...
