Handing isn't the fault of the engine to be fair though. The petrol Golfs handle just the same as the diesels.
I've tried reding my post and I've yet to see where a 182 type diesel I've said will keep with a 182. Race ciruuits are different than drag strips.
No TVR that i can think of does sub 10 second quater miles even the Ferrair Enzo doesn't do that it take more like 11 seconds.
Brake on a bike arn't bad at all cornering well all down to guts. Given any race circuits the bike would beat a TVR IMO. Evo did a test some time agao superbike Vs M3...
I wouldn't drive a car which had brakes with that much air in them thats one heck of a lot of air in there I'd hate for you to suddenly find you've no brakes on the drive back.
Why not fit the brakes at the local garage?
Why would you want to do that? Using the old fuild is a waste you need to bleed them anyway so why not bleed the whole circuit won't take much longer and you'll have to buy the fluid anway.
100k is easy the engines are advanced Williams engine and Williams have been over 300k before now.
100k woulnd't worry me at all at the end of the day enf engine stuck in lagunas etc and there good for countless miles more likly gearbox clutch etc will go before the engine.
Over 60k they...
Rust on the rear aches bottom of doors and boot.
Check the electrics work.
Check how good the sills are.
Check for any unusual characterists of the engine and ask on here might be a simple engine mount as they wear a lot or map sensor etc or might be a worn engine/gearbox.
I woulnd't expect the petrols to have a chance if we limit them to same.
Ie both to 4k (diesel limited due to the weight of the internals to survive at silly compression ratios and temps which would crack a petrol engine just idling). The diesel is much more eficent at both buring fuel (more...
Buying the cheapest stuff will only come back to bight you get some decient stuff to make any difference.
Whole struts won't come with new springs though.
Buy a kit there a decinet choice of kits out there.
Evo as Cosworth can be like running a fire with £50 notes. Scoobies are the second highest warently costs cars the Evos are quite adverage.
Your bound to find good and bad ones though.
For the money I'd say if ou want a fast machine get a motorbike £4k will buy you a Blackbird or a some other...
They still had to run from what I remember with the intake restrictor slike the conpetition the extr turbo and CC was to help remove smoke and make it competitive they sould have made it just have quick with less cc but more smoke IMO.
Audi are milking (and rightly so) the tdi sucess as least...
Slow puncture by the sounds best get it fixed a blow outs not a nice experiance for the matter of a cheap fix (assuming it can be fixed).
Pressure should be 32 front and 30 or so rear depends what you like some like more.
Yep they do they make to make it up though. Not sure it its spray cans only though but you can always spray inot a cup and use the paint in the cup.
Renault sell the touch up for only £7 or so.
Just learn to live with it mine had all the mods don to it and it never fixed it.
Only true fix is a new sunroofless roof or keep swopping cars till you find one which doesn't as ones which don't rattle never seem to rattle.
