Certain pads it is advised to remove the shims off the back and also file the edges/corners off the pads. This may not be the case with yours as I'm not up on k-tecs pads.

My car ticks over a little noisey but already had my belts changed so do you recommend getting it seeen to or just put up with a noisey idle?

Haha!! I did that on my brakes as I was undoing (well actually tightening) the bolt on the back of the caliper and having a simple moment starting turning it the wrong way.

Should i be thinking about changing the gearbox oil aswell? Car is on 98k and I'm not sure how long its been since it was last done.

It's all money dependant. Ph1 Airbox with ITG Filter and uprated CAF's Decat and Aftermarket Exhaust Matched Inlets Live Mapping would always be better but with basic breathing mods i'd just go with the RSTuner Eibach Sportline Springs Pro Race 1.2 Wheels As said it depends on your budget...

What bolts are used to secure the upper plenhum?? I'm pretty sure a couple got sheared off when tightening them last time so will need to order some more for the upcoming service. Also to stop it happening again what torque should they be done to? Cheers.
