Anyone got one on here or had experience with them?
My Brother-in-law just picked one up for casual use and also for my young nephew to use and he's quite impressed by it as it runs the Android 2.1 operating system so supports things like Angry Birds I believe which my nephew loves.
I'd...
Nah the guy wont try and hustle me for extra money as he is guy who works with my bro-in-law... I literally have to fight with him just to give him money.
He just hasn't done much work on RS Clio's as he mainly works on Ford Van and commercial vehicles.
H presumed it would be quite straight...
OK quick reminder as I'm at home and the car is in the garage.... Bumper removal involves....
Screws in the arches?
Headlights out to get to more screws?
Any in the slam panel? (Grill?)
I'm getting my alternator chnaged on my 182 with AC today and just wondering if its a bumper off job?
The guy working on it is unsure whether it can be done without removing the bumper.
Always thinking of how to make some money eh Dave.... Let me guess this is what happened to your Trophy?
I'm surprised people pay that much for the seats as imo they are not all that copmpared to others you can get for that money.
Like the model of car but just not whats been added.
Congratulations on being 19 and owning a Scooby.... Your parents will be proud of what you've achieved.
Yeah it is bit of a concern but I think I might go with it and if it seems faulty then I'll whip across to a breakers yard and grab another one from them.
Good Effort... I ddn't even realse you had 2118's on it... I rarely look in the Clio media mind.
My 2118's always ended up withthe exact same brake dust/tar patches as yours after a good go with Bilberry.
I think it was just damaged in transit as it was just wrapped in bubble wrap and there are some pieces of the plastic still in the packaging but I suppose it could still have been dropped.
See above.
Yeah thats my concern.... I dont want to go to all the trouble replacing it for it to then damage the belts/not working properly due to the dmaged edge.
Just had a replacement Alternator delivered because mine sems to have given up on me BUT upon opening noticed the damage to the wheel on the end -
Just askingif you think I should source a different one due to the damaged part?
Also just while I was taking photos....Is this the right...
Its a decent idea but I imagine it would lead to very small numbers at each of th meets..... Back when Tim, Myself, Gregg, Greeny all made it to regular meets we were always up for a decent drive to get to meets so if people are keen I see no issue with taking an hour drive to get to the meets...
OK well thats cleared up then.
Best get that sorted by a Renault Tech Friend at some point then as he did all the belts for me so has all the timing tools etc.
Thanks for the info Fred.
I'm getting a new alternator fitted this weekend as well as Oil change, Gearbox oil change and plugs fitted so trying to figure out whether I should try and speak with the guy about doing this at the same time.
Could also get the depahser trade price as he works for a Ford Dealeship so could...
Mark Fish seem to get rated highly but as with everything are not cheap... Around £250 iirc.
Some swear by Solid top mounts and other say not to bother so I guess its a matter of readingthrough all the threads and making your own mind up.....Others that do them are K-Tec, Compbrake and AST I...
