    Jekyll's RB182 Progress Thread

I hadn't seen that I must say. Probably not as I will most likely be under the Escort (giggity) and the Clio is currently SORN so would have to bring the RRRRRR instead :(

Burpspeed Version 2: Race Car Build

Should go well with the new engine Tony. I want a proper engine for mine :(

    Craigy's 172 cup, back again.

Nice. I'd like a clean standard one really. I love my ratty one as I can do what I want with it without worrying, but it would be nice to have a minter too.

I really like my Fatty induction kit. I think the alloy bend looks better than silicone myself, more "proper". Probably louder too. Saying that, I should paint the pipe black as that looks good! Doesn't matter now anyway, SM inlet here I come lol.

    frazjam's Ph1 172

Impressive how light these things can be without going too bonkers, bet it's good fun!

    Jekyll's RB182 Progress Thread

Fair enough but, if you decide to sell it, let me know, I'd take it off your hands :)

    Track Car dilemma

Clio all the way. Cheap to buy, don't rust nearly as badly as the Mazda and millions of new and used tuning bits out there. My boggo 172 Cup seems to make mincemeat of most MX-5s on track too, so surely it's worth it on pointless ego boost alone.

    Jekyll's RB182 Progress Thread

For the record, if you do decide to switch to a Cup spoiler, I'll take the Trophy one off your hands. In fact, my Cup is currently SORN'd so would be happy to take the spoiler off for you and we you could send me the Trophy one when you've had a chance to swap them :)

    106 gti 3500

I like it. Fit the right wheels and put the badges etc back and you've essentially got what looks like a 106 Maxi, I could live with that.

I vote keep the spoiler and bin the deflectors. I would say that though, because I think wind deflectors are probably the most hateful modification you can make to a car lol.

    Jekyll's RB182 Progress Thread

Looks good that, do love RB. Set of spacers will finish it off nicely. Would ditch the wind deflectors though, really don't like them.

    Old Skool cool cars

Well, as it's been opened up to non-hatchbacks, I'll add a couple more of my old cars: So yeah, I quite like an old Ford...

Burpspeed Version 2: Race Car Build

Shame about the engine failure Tony, was good to meet you and have a chat at Snet. I took a few pictures and put them in a thread if you haven't seen them already: http://www.cliosport.net/threads/tricolore-trophy-amongst-other-things-at-snetterton.792186/#post-11079924

    Mk1 Daily >> Trackcar

I'm not a massive fan of Hammerite myself, but I do like a grey interior!

    Clio Grande 1.2 Mk2 Ph1 upgrade project

Personally I'm not a fan of Ph.2 lights on a Ph.1, I think it looks better with the standard lights, but it's a nice colour and looks in good shape. A set of wheels from a Sport of some kind, coupled with a slight drop and it would look a lot better without breaking the bank.

This weeks work on the Trophy

Each to their own bud :) it's still a cool car. Can't decide which colour wheels I prefer though!

    The PH1 172 Appreciation Thread.

I'm sure you're right but I just wonder if there is a neater solution. Looks great otherwise, still one of the best ph.1's around!

    The PH1 172 Appreciation Thread.

Love everything on this apart from the front number plate, doesn't look right where it is.

The Ep3 i was tempted by on PH.

I did about 30k in my 172 Cup in the space of 18 months and it needed very little in that time. The only things I can think of outside routine servicing was rear shocks and injectors, which cost pennies. Bare in mind the car was on over 100k when I started too. It's just pure luck with used...

The Ep3 i was tempted by on PH.

Never seen the appeal of these myself. I'm sure they're an ok drive but they just look awful I think. It's just a blob. The Clio might be a bit more flimsy (ok a lot more) but it has bags of character and is a really nicely proportioned little car. The Civic still feels tinny and cheap inside I...

Splitter and black spoiler don't do much for me, but love it otherwise!

The "Ive taken a pic and I kinda like it" thread

Not really relative to the photography topic. However, I don't normally like 200Ts, but that one looks fappin' brilliant!

    UR Megane R26

It's amazing that, given how awful the cooking model Meganes looked, just how brilliant these can look with a few subtle tweaks. Looks excellent in red too.

    Old Skool cool cars

The Lotus Carlton is probably one of the coolest cars to come out of the 90s. Would definitely be in my lottery win garage!

    Old Skool cool cars

Might as well put one of my current RS2000s in here as other people have. Not really finished yet but getting there: Build there here: http://www.cliosport.net/threads/escort-rs2000-rally-car.788631/

Clio Cup Rally car - Round 7 Motoring News MSV Rally championship

Looking good. Will try and pop along to Snetterton for a look. My car should have been ready for that, but I've really not pulled my finger out over winter!

    Old Skool cool cars

I would love one of those. Must be rare now.

    Old Skool cool cars

That Golf is on TSW Hockenheims isn't it? That Willy looks like it has a Clio Maxi replica kit on it.
  29. massiveCoRbyn

    Old Skool cool cars

That's cool. It's a crime that so many of these have had 16v engines fitted to them. The 1.3 engine is what makes them.
