I hadn't seen that I must say.
Probably not as I will most likely be under the Escort (giggity) and the Clio is currently SORN so would have to bring the RRRRRR instead :(
Nice.
I'd like a clean standard one really. I love my ratty one as I can do what I want with it without worrying, but it would be nice to have a minter too.
I really like my Fatty induction kit. I think the alloy bend looks better than silicone myself, more "proper". Probably louder too.
Saying that, I should paint the pipe black as that looks good! Doesn't matter now anyway, SM inlet here I come lol.
Clio all the way.
Cheap to buy, don't rust nearly as badly as the Mazda and millions of new and used tuning bits out there. My boggo 172 Cup seems to make mincemeat of most MX-5s on track too, so surely it's worth it on pointless ego boost alone.
For the record, if you do decide to switch to a Cup spoiler, I'll take the Trophy one off your hands. In fact, my Cup is currently SORN'd so would be happy to take the spoiler off for you and we you could send me the Trophy one when you've had a chance to swap them :)
I vote keep the spoiler and bin the deflectors.
I would say that though, because I think wind deflectors are probably the most hateful modification you can make to a car lol.
Shame about the engine failure Tony, was good to meet you and have a chat at Snet.
I took a few pictures and put them in a thread if you haven't seen them already: http://www.cliosport.net/threads/tricolore-trophy-amongst-other-things-at-snetterton.792186/#post-11079924
Personally I'm not a fan of Ph.2 lights on a Ph.1, I think it looks better with the standard lights, but it's a nice colour and looks in good shape.
A set of wheels from a Sport of some kind, coupled with a slight drop and it would look a lot better without breaking the bank.
I did about 30k in my 172 Cup in the space of 18 months and it needed very little in that time. The only things I can think of outside routine servicing was rear shocks and injectors, which cost pennies. Bare in mind the car was on over 100k when I started too.
It's just pure luck with used...
Never seen the appeal of these myself.
I'm sure they're an ok drive but they just look awful I think. It's just a blob. The Clio might be a bit more flimsy (ok a lot more) but it has bags of character and is a really nicely proportioned little car. The Civic still feels tinny and cheap inside I...
It's amazing that, given how awful the cooking model Meganes looked, just how brilliant these can look with a few subtle tweaks.
Looks excellent in red too.
Might as well put one of my current RS2000s in here as other people have. Not really finished yet but getting there:
Build there here: http://www.cliosport.net/threads/escort-rs2000-rally-car.788631/
Looking good.
Will try and pop along to Snetterton for a look. My car should have been ready for that, but I've really not pulled my finger out over winter!
