As I needed a new wing, due to the other one being un-repairable, I went and picked up a pair from Winston. They have no cracks, and are perfect for being resprayed, which will eventually happen as the door needs doing also!
I also picked up a spare steering...
As quite a few of you know, I got rid of my MK2 quite a while ago now, and havent been around much on the forum since. The new project is why, and ive decided to start a project thread now ive got some way into it.
From the title, you obviously know its a MK1... I wanted something a bit more...
Using proper brake line spanner.....im stuck now, cant get it off to get new line on!
tried mole grips, pipe wrench, penetrating fluid.....how can i get this off? i need the car on the road!!
ive replaced the bearings in the hubs joshy, and polyflex'd the arms, so i was going to get new (considering id seen people say they were around 8 quid each on here).....but if i cant find any, il use them for now and replace them.......
brake lines are the most needed item to be honest, cant...
ive read on here people have got them from eurocarparts for 172's, but they say they dont even do the wishbone now....somewhere surely has to sell them........ie if the bushes are replaced in the wishbone like mine have been
Does anyone have any idea where I can get these, ideally ASAP.
Need some standard brake lines from a 172 Ph1, new....and Bottom Ball Joints for the wishbones.....Buying a whole new wishbone isnt an option, as powerflex bushes have been fitted....

usually the clip slides out to the side, and the two parts of the connector split....from what i can remember, that might be yellow one though
