Look at millage on old MOT, then look at new one, if over 5k they can tell. If the car is in your name, you pay for all the insurance, MOTs, services etc they are not going to believe you're not the main driver etc.

Mine did this, i just cut some off with a angle grinder.

I'd have wanted a new bumper for that personally, and IMO would cost me more than £200 of my time to sort it cos of where I live, would be a day off work for me to fix that! Still fair one on her.
