LOL! I take quite some offence to that, bexley village has lost it's magic of late what with all the violence at the kebaby!
Portrait is much more civilised (and that's saying something)!
Cheers for the insurance advice girls, I'll cross that bridge in 51 weeks I guess.
I wish it was mate... I really wish it was.
I know I only had it for 7 days, but I properly love this car.. I'm not sure why, there's just something about it I really click with. The thought of it coming...
Luke, I haven't lost my NCD.
I did the following:
Went back to the comparison site I used to insure the zed, edited my existing quote (so changed nothing) and put that I had a crash 51 weeks ago (so it would be exactly the same as if I did a new quote next year).
Last week I came out at £917...
I only took out insurance last week, it's with Admiral.
I have always been with sky previously, but they were £300 more (with less excess I admit) but £300 is a definite saving, where as excess is only a possibility.
Ah nice to see someone else proper local!
Danny is about 1 hour 15 away but literally knows these cars inside out.
I stood and waited whilst he ripped mine to shreds in minutes, replaced everything necessary, found a load of faults, fixed them all on the spot, slung it all back together, we...
I do realise I've come off OK, but ginger pubes has still cost me £500 next year and will cost me more money every year for the next 5, so it's not like I've got off scott free!
I realise what you're saying on the courtesy car but you must see that it was a little tongue in cheek... I'm...
You put that better than I did. Why use the term like for like then give me a 5dr diesel to be equal to a 2 door, 2 seat petrol?
If they'd said "would you like a high quality rental" then fair enough, but his exact words were "do you require a like for like rental car" to which I said yes and...
Hardly when I'm supposed to be going on holiday in the car... I don't exactly see myself enjoy the roads in the Lakes with 5,000 RPM to play with. If mine's out before the 24th I'll be happy enough.
I can't believe you genuinely think it's a something for nothing attitude though, if I'd...
LOL!
Kev, the petrol cap is on the other side, just phoned them, they'll do it cash but cannot guarantee it'll be a perfect match as it isn't going to be blended in. I said I'd be happier with a perfect cap that isn't a 1000000000% match than I am with a chipped up one!
The guy knew...
I'll kick up the biggest fuss known to man, but hopefully one of the insurance boys can tell us where I'd actually stand.
Kind of wish I'd taken it to BMW now... there's one local too.
I'm not sure that's the case Ollie?
They've assessed my car and are already repairing it starting today, say this took three weeks... After they're half way through my courtesy car pushes it over the 66% threshold so would they then stop and scrap my motor???
I didn't "demand" the nice car, I...
I told you yesterday ffs!
I have a company that will split and refurb for £25 extra per wheel.
They will refurb unsplit but no, you won't get them apart again without great difficulty. I see no problem with this as he's clearly not wanting to take them apart anyway, otherwise he'd do it...
I should be there in the pimpin A3.

As a kid I used to collect knives (about 15 upwards) it started when my grandad gave me an old army knife, I used to bring all sorts back through airport security just fine... Flick knives, butterfly knives...
