Its not good running lean at all but longer periods can lead to damage in extreme cases burned exhaust valves etc a forum meber running with a lot of tunning parts once ruined his engine when the remap setup failed and it ran lean for ages but that was head work cams etc enough to get just over...
If anyhting your car should be rnning lean ie no dark smoke. Dark black smoke indicated overfuling I'd guess when your intake manifold was replaced the injecotrs or somehting got damaged.
The engine will compensate below 75% throttle and 4k but above this it won't.
if you've no warently I'd chnage at 4 year s or 60k whatever happens earlier if it breaks its going to be expensive so might as well chnange it.
Its p[art of the 72k service so which cambelt might only cost £250 the service is another £250 etc at a dealership.
Rentech/Gdi will do the service...
Yep there two belts on the car one is the cambelt which only drives the cams and is under a cover.
The other os the AUX belt powers all the rest of the things alternator PAS pump aircon coolent pump. Only thing which isn't on a belt is the starter.
Do the windows work?
What about the UCH remove that an its a few KG saved plus all the associated wiring and run a Mk1 or custom light indicators etc setup.
Does the bot open best idea would be no hinged and welding it shut without locks etc.
Plastic windows that a few more KG saved.
Does it...
If the Williams can get an MOT by FCS I'll try and bring it but I've no time to go to the loo at the moment so sorting an MOT out is unlikly.
PS I've booked 3 hrs on the Saturday on the morning session (seems not enough people have signed up so its open to all now even people who arn't...
65hp as standard which my car is, however mine is a very quick 65hp a drag race aginst a 1.4 16V shows there no much in it.
Its only changes are different spec tyres (195/50/15 are cheaper although there the same compound as new cars are sold with) and ds2500's which arn't much different than...

You need more than just the engine best get everything from Matt at Renault specilaist brekaer £1.5k but thats everything you need gearbox suspension front brakes etc.
Its not that bad but you need a good garaeg and crane etc would take about a week to do depends how good you are and help you...
It will fit I did some checks there a few issues though.
1) Gearbox choice he stock one which isn't that good and only stands 400NM torque and the brand new 175hp dci has to be limited as the box can only hold 400NM and have a warenty.
2) Getting the gearbox to fit difficult one stock box is...
Yep it can be done.
However forget it cost wise.
You need the dash panle the pipe wor the condensor you need to get a new Aux belt and pump fitted you need to get it all wired in with the heater unit. Then you could either
1) Have the ECU programmed by Renault as if the car had...
Sounds like a bad power connection or more likly a faulty dash unit they have failed before now only thing is its not cheap unless its under warenty.
Auto lights as well might indicate he UCH has got Wet you need Renault to do a check realy the faults could be down to a wet UCH or it could...
No point upgrading rear do nothing anyway.
Yep just tell he dealer your registration plate and they'll find the part number and they usually have them in stock its a common part.
CB1N or CB0M or CB22 is the car spec you want there the same part number for all cars.
