    35mpg on track? Something not right I get under 30 in a less powerful diesel. Even on road I can driving like mad get 37mpg.

    Little bit of milk goes off very quickly and stinks like mad parents had to see the car which I'd spilt some milk on as the smell always lingered. Make sure you do it just after she's returned from shopping and you cna blame there for not taking care of your car.

    Fill the tank to the brim (takes some time) reset the trip computer then nest time you fill up fill it to the brim and then divide the amoutn of fuel you put in by 4.5461 to find out how many liters you've burned and divinde the milage by this number I.E. 45 liters in the tank is approx 10...

    Cup setup is different I no idea what the figures are off hand but the Cup has a different setp. Go to a garage who know what there on about.

    Get a mate to ring up the house pretendint to be from the insuracne saying an error occured they want an extra £k or so to add her to the policy. Or make sure the car doesn't start by unplugging the fuel pump.

    Expensive there are ways round it have the 5th gear increased like Algorami had done or chnage the final gear ratio but then all your ratios are longer. Its not cheap though Algorarmi had it doen as his box was already in pieces as they were putting a LSD and lower ratio's in it for racing but...

    0w/40 Oil !

    You can mix oil like this the 0-40 is better for the engine it is best to top up with the same oil though.

    Keep the bst tyres on the back at all costs the Clio needs as much back end grip as possible.

    The argument of which is quicker is difficult. I'd not be bothered as much about type more condition etc. There no huge reason to go for any the 3 has a leaking sunroof the 1 is limited edition so many people think of therm as sacrolige and the 2 is nither a ABS or a "rare" version.

    Change the tyre now don't drive on it. The only time you'll know we were right is when you have a blow out at high speed and hindsight is a great thing then.

    Looms are very similar. Some valvers which run Williams bottom and heads are fine others need adjustaments the Williams looms are all the same though.     22k not bad going. Minimum size from memory should be 21.8mm new there 24mm thick the disk. There not expensive to replace £60 for some new disks.

    Re: MPG and tire wear on 172/182's Yozza and Loony arn't easy I'd love to see what they get mpg wise tyres last about 12k when I drive my car so a car with 100hp or so more you must be looking at 7k

    JBarber - Humm thats got to be my worst ever. Its hsould read Thats a constant adverager not a total adverager. I think VAG's have both a short and a long term adverager ie they have one which works on the adverage after a few minutes and one which adverages since last time the trip is reset.

    Get a Mk2 1 or 2 year old dci 65 or 80. Then get the extended warently so thats 3 yrs of motoring covered by Renault. The new car has worse MPG as its heavier and there more expensive anyway. I drtive minbe quite hard but its always 55mpg on the road even track work its just below 30mpg. Pads...

    FK's Dont fit!

    It shouldn't all Mk2 phase 2's run the 58mm bolts although some early 1.2's of Mk2 2 spec ran the 52mm hubs just to be difficult.

    Its the UCH. Someone has programmed it to set that noise off at speed any dealership can turn it of just needd to plug there computer into it.
