Difficult to say everyone ideas are different. I persoanly I'm more bothered about handling and brakes and never realy spend on tunning or if I did I'd spend a fortune fixing other thing ie throttle body going to manaul wire.
If you have a 172 though the decat makes a bigger difference than...
Yep it still holds records in the 2.0 catagory. However due to the Williams sucess (and other things) the class was closed down and the S1600 was created so the records will never be beaten.
The Williams did will against the early Impretas and Evo's even though it was N/A and FWD which are...
Remove the second sensor it shouldn't be plugged in. If its not plugged in it won't throw and error. You need Renault or a good garage to cleaar the log though before it will go away.
Petrols need a fixed amount of air to fuel `14.7 to much fuel than air ir 13.7 air to 1 part fuel means its...
My cars and my mates both have the same full fat windscreens and tom tom one works fine with both just throw it in that rubbery bit on the top of the dash.
Tell them to ring Renault technical assistance. If they cannot or don't know this number then ring Renault Uk and explain this to them they won't be impressed that a Renault dealership don't know there own technical number. I'd go to another dealership though anyway if they don't know the...
Coilovers and brakes first.
Decat is no trouble just make sure you don't connect the second sensor the 182's have trouble that this throws a warning light on the 172 the ECU works differently so no error is ever noticed so long as the sensors never plugged in.
Nope there isn't but the Mk2 manual tells you enough.
PM me your email address and i'll send you the file saying hwo to do the rear brakes and other bits about the car.
There only one trpe regardless of what Halfords or anyone says the pads you want are the same as the William or 1.8 16V or the 5GTT the disk are 259mm ones same as the Williams and 1.8 16V the 5gtt used the smaller 238mm disks.
Leda coilovers then good brakes (4 pots personally but pads etc are a good idea) then some better wheels to help cool the brkaes as stock ones arn't very good either Turini etc would be my favoured way.
Theres dealers asking £4.2k for 80k cars of the same age. There one in the trader for £3.75k wth 84k and thats what there asking not what they will get.
£3.8 for a valver I wouldn't think so unless it was mint stored in a garage to a collection.
My Williams is worth maybe £3k and thats got...
Yep chnage all the tensioners they fail if there not chnaged don't forget the AUX belt needs changing as well but that should be part of the cambelt service.
Try Matt black on here he has a load of cables in stock last time I saw him they will be cheaper.
Nope only stock cables can be used Halfords can order them but it takes ages and don't expect them to get the right one as the ends are Renault only.
I'd be up for it. Got to check my (almost emply) calender though.
Whats the deal with track time can we have Cliopsort only track time? Any idea if Semi slicks will be aloowed (my car needs all the help it cna get). No slicks or passengers though thats boring.
The thing is Renault say a pad is only usbale for about half its thickness so if there say 100mm thick and you've worn 2.5mm off then there 50% worn. You can run them down to the bare metal realy though. ALos Renault are often overoptimimistic my rear drums are supposidly 805 worn and cracked...
I ran the lead up the side of the seat to the dash but the proper way is to thread it up the side of the door round the footwell(or over the dash as Renault do) and then into the back of the unit. Its to much work for me though.
Yep its a plug in and play one though you don't have to do anyhting.
