if you stripped the weight out of the car, thats probably why it spun... because you weren't used to the lightness of the rear end. Its easily done, as Chris recently found at when we were at the Nurburgring.
maybe a stone flicked up in the arch... they echo around the whole car.
i did it recently with a fircone, i even pulled over to see what the hell it could have been!
looks silly because of the full sized cutout that you can see around the smaller plate.
would only look good an a car without the cutout for the plate... like a lotus etc

all you're doing it machining the manifold to what it should have been like from Renault. You're not actually modifying the engine, just correcting it! Plus there's little chance of them knowing the work's been done.
you will need the VIN number and the car reg number.
i lost mine too, but some helpful people helped on here who work for Renault just the other week :)
indeed, for the next few hundred miles it will stay the same, then all of a sudden one day it will be louder, more 'poppy' and more addictive! :evil:
