thats normal. Its a kind of rubberised laquer that renault used which just scratches off and gets all sticky/messy. They're not cheap to buy either, except mine which cost £3 :)

its just a small amount of oil around one of the bolts that holds the engine cover on. i'll go and grab a pic :)

i never received a txt? my service book is a duplicate, probably from when the car was imported at registration, so doesnt have the radio code in the front.

can anyone else help, the guy above was no help...? Renault want £10 which i refuse to pay for them to look at a computer screen and read the code.

I've seen pics of the welds on the yozzasport 172 system posted recently by another member and they look very good. In fact they look very similar in quality to those found on my ProSpeed system. Very tidy :)

How much are front shock absorbers for a Ph1 172? Im talking OE fitment ones, but also if there's aftermarket ones that are better for a few ££ more? Koni adjustables are the ideal, but they're expensive! Ta :)
