i used wet and dry, started with the 240 and worked upto the 1200.... then i primered and sanded that, but did no sanding after that stage as it was paint then dry then laquer
maybe yeah..... dont want to color code the front i dont think it would look right.... maybe smooth it... i dont know yet...
...got a 182 surround for the bumper sat here.... 3" slash cut rolled exhaust going on next week... then refurb wheels before fcs and its at a point where im kind of...
i dont know where the location is on sunday winston wont tell me :p
and yeah its the same as the RB shoot ;)
dont know yet... dont want to start buying wings and skirts etc and i dont want to bodge it onto standard wings... time will tell... doubtful though
managing to nock things off my list that i want doing before fcs quickly... the latest being a 172 back bumper :) gave it a quick clean also, and the new exhaust is going on very soon. also made my own smoothed bullets for the sidestrips... but not sure if i like them or not...
take the covers off the sides of the seats with the torx screw at the back of them...
then 5 x 13mm bolts down the sides... seat will lift off...
then under the car take the two plugs off to get at the 2 x 13mm bolts for the outside runners... then the other 2 x 13mm bolts for the other...
winston claims hes lower... well for now he is... but i say mk1's have more arch room to play with... especially when his arches bend as the wheel turns ;)
when i had mine at its lowest i hit the sills on a speedbump once... apart from that its fine and livable with :)
mixed opinions about conversions like the above, as the halogen units are not designed to take conversions like that and make the beam scatter all over the place.... probably the reason why renault spent money to develop proper xenon units in the first place...
