niceeeee :)
heres a few pics of ryans before the crash happened... after you lot left..
btw had no idea how to do moving shots... so.... they are kind of... okey...
oh.... and ryan decided to start polishing his engine.... but gave up after one letter i think ;)
i took mine to a local garage, who adjusted them to the right height with the car level..... the car bounces a bit with it being stupidly low... but ive not had any probs yet and ive been behind police and oncoming to them and they havent bat an eyelid
i did this a month back...
£350 for the complete pair everything you need... straight swap..
although as edde says they are illegal without automatic levelling and washers, i have neither
im trying to get the seat as low as possible, not bothered if its fixed because the back can flip forward.... i would rather have more backward tilt on the seat aswell so the actual position will naturally be closer to the wheel
i should have drawn it a bit better lol...
i meant just a metal sheet no bars... like say some 5mm steel sheeting with 4 holes for the mounting bolts, then holes for the seat to mount to.... possibility?
just had the passenger seat out to take a closer look at how everything is setup as standard.... anyone think this idea would work....?
ok... remove the sliders etc... get a metal plate made up like shown below:
this would bolt to the 4 bolts that the original sliding mechanism bolted...
yeah we know.... neither of us are using custom springs though... seeing as FK sent me the wrong ones twice and D Faulkner could not make them to the right size its stuck at that height ;)
