...I've been talking about getting one of these for ages. Been watching one on eBay for the last week, but no matter how much I want/need one, I struggled with the idea of spending £200+ on it.

Then she goes and makes the decision for me, early Happy Birthday MarkCup :D

I only got it tonight as I was going to bid on the one on eBay, so she stopped me before I did and had to give up the secret - only one day early though.

Foot-plate isn't attached as the angle is too severe, a little help from a fork-lift truck tomorrow should have that bended to the right angle :approve:

Does anyone else have one of these?

Right, time for some practice...

its nice bit of kit, just never saw the point of em really. ive always thought if you wanna drive, go drive, if you wanna play a game, pick up a pad or grab the mouse n keyboard.

each to their own though!

Ha ha ha :)

I'm playing through (slowly) Forza 2 at the moment. Enjoying learning the tracks and the individual intracacies of the different cars.

I can see what you're saying about driving/playing...but I actually learn from this. The dynamics modelling in Forza is very very good, so I like to drive and practice trail-braking, unwiding the steering as I exit, getting on the power as early as possible. All of it works in the game (get it wrong and you're off or spinning tyre and losing time) and is relevant to track driving.

It was GT3 with a Logitech wheel that got me on track in the first place so I ought to keep my foot in LOL

I want one but there's no way I can get one... I'm not married yet and if I have one of those sat infront of my TV when I bring a bird back it would literally be game over ;)
