a/s means asymetric.
What that means (I think) is that the tyre has an outside edge that always has to be on the outside of the car. So you could happily swap your wheels around left to right, front to back, whatever, end they'll always be fitted correctly. PE2's are asymetric.
The other...
Just about every picture I've seen recently of other 172's or 182's shows then wearing Turini wheels.
You'll all be after Mondial Blue resprays, Mossa cloth interiors, and be taking the fuse out of your ABS next.
Why not just admit it, you know you want to ;) , you know what I'm talking...
They'll fit fine Si, and you'll have a slightly wider footprint from the improved offset.
Pricewise...probably in the region of £60-£100 each depending on condition.
I did this and almost lost a wheel mid-session at Goodwood.
Before you fit them you MUST remove the paint from the bolt hole where the wheel bolt seats...or the same might happen to you!
kabz - I'm normally a very placid person but your incredible stupidity makes me just want to give you a big slap.
Do you like your teeth/nose/general facial structure?
Lots of us don't bother, as technically you're safer on track than you are in the morning motorway rush hour - at least on track everyone's paying attention and focussed on driving.
I enquired when I started out, and for £10,000 cover, it was £150 for the day, with a £1,500 excess. If I'd...
I'd seriously doubt that the ECU could/would adjust the load on the engine from the air-con compressor pump.
One thing I would say is give it a few hundred miles and then see. A while back when my Cup was in the hands of Mike @ Rentech for a service he reset the ECU, and it drove horribly for...
The brakes can't breathe properly with the valver wheels though TomS - hence why I've got these now.
Thanks alot for doing that MarkM - purple doesn't work, I've done the orange before, light blue and the black don't seem loud enough, but the lime green looks sweet, as does the yellow...
It was in gear with the handbrake on and I just dropped it down quickly for the pics...so it hadn't settled properly. I like it high though ;)
To SamboRT - yep, danny lee, need new centre rings though as they don't fit.
Got these recently, only just put them on the car for the first time.
They're going to get a rough coat of something, and I'm leaning towards bright yellow, but I'm open to suggestions...
Could someone please photoshop these pics to show the wheels in;
Lime green
Flourescant pink
Yellow...
If you take it on track with those wheels the brakes will overheat (common problem with hard driven 182's)...the standard Turini's give much better venting.
Your old Fiesta looks nice though...what's the spec on that?
