Noticed no difference at all with mine James - it does "sound" quicker though.

If you've got leather, climate control, auto wipers/lights, headlamp washers and 5 spoke alloys, you've got a full fat 172.

Nope, it's an "Ouch this is gonna hurt" warning light, about 250rpm before the limiter which isn't necessarily the best place to shift...best shift point changes with each and every gear.

Cost is irrelevant with Mike - it's how he treats the car (and you) that makes the difference. IIRC a 12k standard service is circa £150.

I reckon on low 6's to 60mph. The beep is the b2 overspeed warning at 100mph, but it always runs about 3 seconds behind. There's no way of timing that's 100% accurate but from when I set off, to when I reached an indicated 103mph (which is a true GPS 100mph) i make it mid to late 16's from...
