Youre not mad at all...theres plenty of us out there it seems...
When I went away for a week in June, by the end of the second day Id pissed my Wife off as I was talking about driving it so much.
When we finally got back and pulled into the drive I was like a little kid, ran inside, got the...
WTF  ? Do I know you? Where did I mention cost above???
Why are A539s "better" than Exaltos IMHO?
Compare the front left outer shoulder of my A539 to the front left outer shoulder of Lees Exalto when we were at Brands in May - his had tread blocks disintegrating and coming away...
If youve got an RS Clio with traction control...when the weather goes all s*** like it is now...do you just bury the throttle in the carpet and let the TCS sort everything out for you?
Does TC make you a worse driver beacause you become used to the safety net always being there, as opposed to...
Omar did good then eh? Glad to hear it...
Was a good day in the end then? How many turned up? Did you get full use of the strip, or just selected sections of it?
How much was Omar ahead by?
A539s on my 172 Cup are without fault.
Theyre progressive on the limit, and break away very gently. Ultimate grip level may be down compared to other brands, but when theyre this user-friendly, you get to use more of whats available to you more of the time.
Downside is theyre no good in the...
A1 service as usual.
Thanks Mike.
Having been told next Thursday was the earliest they could possibly fit me in, and being faced with a £150+ hire car fee in the meantime, Mike172sport works his magic, shifts things about, and gets it sorted once again :D :D :D
Thick? Really?
So do you think that a steering wheel that wears out in less than 18 months of use is reasonable wear and tear then?
Ive got one torn/split too...if they refuse to repair it and put it down to wear and tear, then the wheel in the first place was clearly not of "satisfactory...
Does it?
If thats the case Ill be needing a third starter motor or wiring loom :(
Anyone say for certain what that light flashing really fast means? I just looked again and its between the "STOP" and "SERV" lights...

I hope I havent got...
...f****** useless piece of Renault sh*te.
Theres a light, centre of the top row of the central group of warning lights between speedo/rev counter, its small, round and red.
I normally only see this blinking away when the cars locked...but today it flashes very fast when Im turning the key...
So thats what it was then?
My boss was out on his boat yesterday and sailed into Bosham. He mentioned today that I should look into hiring Thorney airstip for a day as he heard "loud engines and plenty of tyre screeching" as he went round the island.
Im local, but had no idea it was on...how...
I had a similar problem with my Cup last December...it turned out to be the airflow sensor/throttle housing I think.
When it went it just sat "hunting" at 2-3k rpm as it was getting no messages from the sensor IIRC.
Get it checked out/sorted ASAP before it lets you down on a motorway at 3 in...
I had the Zetec S V6 Mondeo before my Cup. 50bhp down on the ST220, but same handling pack with 18s etc.
Handled like a car of that size had no right to, but was a bit gutless. Im sure the 220 is a gem.
