I put some Gtechniq C4 on mine, make sure you use Isopropyl alcohol and the surface is super clean before applying. Also do it on a warm sunny day, you don't want any rain on them for 24hrs.
Ahh no worries Dave.
When I could see the tip of my exhaust from back of car it was because the hanger had gone, but if it's all secure thats the main thing (y)
Looking forward to more updates.
Cars looking lovely and fair play for taking on the bodywork and rust.
Can you give me some details about how you did the door strips and bullets please!
Cheers.
My temp guage is acting exactly the same way! It always stayed on the halfway mark and never moved before.
I've bought a genuine Renault thermostat & coolant temp sensor and will be replacing both as well as new coolant.
I think if you do the same it will fix your issue.
Fantastic work so far!
Paint the wiper arms & plastic covers satin black. I used Gtechniq C4 on my front grille which was badly faded and brought it back to black.
Looking forward to the next update.
Incredible skill, knowledge, time and patience to create this monster!! Lovely write up and who doesn't love freshly painted or custom engineered parts being fitted. Top work.
Hi Guys,
Just looking for some help please.
What do the numbers on the second row refer to, some kind of date code?
Also what does the I,II,III mean, is it the revision number?
01.46.3 I
02.45.4 II
02.24.5 III
Thanks in advance!
What an incredible thread! you must have rebuilt the whole car by now :) insane amount of time and work has gone into this and it shows with the couple of pics you've posted ;) inspirational stuff. Congrats on the baby!
I loved the concept of this game but this game had more dialogue and cut scenes than actual gameplay.
I'd rather play a game with lower quality graphics that actually works than a game with amazing graphics that doesn't.
For years none of these new games are properly tested before release...
Such an epic build! A great write up with lots of pics.
Just to add I got my brake lines a while back direct from @BRT Motorsport great service and would also recommend
Incredible build! Well documented and enjoyable read. I'd be scared to drive it or get it dirty after doing all that work, you've got a lot of skills I wish I had. Congrats!
Insane amount of work has gone into this. It looks like, new beautiful car.
@Ash J When you get a minute could you please PM me where you got the inlet stainless bolts, archliners bolts and stainless steel fasteners? Cheers!
