Inlet and fuel rail cover

Hi guys
What paint are people using when sprucing up their inlet and fuel rail covers?

Mines in desperate need of cleaning up

Also the carpet on the bulkhead is quite faded

I used etch primer and then normal spray paint. Worked on my old Ph1 and I’ve just done it on my current one. For the heat shield material do what @Coops Mk1 did that I copied and use Auto Glym spray dye. My take on it is that is not 100% black but soooo much better than before.

The original inlet in my old Ph1 I did used VHT spray paint but ended up as a matte finish

yeah i used this paint for inlet/fuel rail. didnt even prep other than just wash with some degreaser and a hose

2 x Aerosol Eastwood Aluma Blast Cast Aluminium Look Car Water Pump Paint | eBay

then for the bulkhead used this

Autoglym Black DYE (fast stain - Rubber Plastic Metal Fabric 450ml GENUINE) | eBay

worked well on both counts and both cars, check my project threads for the Odyssey and RB

What prep did you do before painting? Cheers.

I brushed it down with a fine wire brush and degreased it followed by two coats
