Nothing wrong with the box it was the poor software that wasn't upto the job the 220box/software was fantastic, my mates golf R dsg was as good as the 220 trophy box as standard once he had spent a lot of money on aftermarket software for it!

If it's a tuner list which a 2003 will you need the connects2 or the official Renault version (tunepoint? I think it was called) If it's an update list one of the cheap eBay cables is all you need

Yeah will.work fine, the pump doesn't activate under a certain pressure anyway so it's not like it's been running with no gas and caused any damage etc
