    ITB'd Road & Track Ph1 Titanium 172

Re: Ph1 172 Dropped it off at a friend's garage to fit the cup subframe and 7.5mm rear spacers to replace the 10mm -1mm camber spacers. I'd have done it but...I cba :P I need to order some aerocatches for the front bumper this weekend and I'm having the group buy door cards off @Kelv on Friday.

Re: Ph1 172 Nice and responsive, pulled well from low down. Now I've got the filter setup all sorted the idle is solid around 900rpm. Just need to tweak the cold start so I don't have to hold it on the throttle for a few seconds to get it idling. Can't wait to have it all finished and abuse...

    [AUS] His + hers - Clio 4 RS 200T

If I didn't do 700+ miles a week I'd have one of these as a daily but I'd keep the ph1 for track. It would have to have the cup chassis though, the one I drove felt great! But I think I'd prefer the 17s to 18s. They do look good in white, it suits it more than the other colors I think.

Re: Ph1 172 Mine is only 35 degrees against 90 in that article, and it didn't have much effect. I ran one on my old car, it went from 190 down to 167! That was a pipercross one with 100mm entry

Re: Ph1 172 Based on this... http://www.emeraldm3d.com/articles/dec2012/ it shouldn't be an issue, especially as I've done the clamps as tight as possible to squash the silicon over the lip. The extra 70mm length should more than make up for anything.

Should go well :) wouldn't bother with a paddle clutch unless you want boost in the long run. Standard one is fine even with low boost.

Re: Ph1 172 There isn't step. It's a 48mm OD and 45mm ID flange with a 45mm ID hose, its clamped on the ends of the flange so it pushes the hose flush with the flange :) That was a thought of mine for a later date now I'm happy with how it site, but only to tidy it up and not to smooth out...

Re: Ph1 172 Trimmed all the hoses to suit and got it all fitted up this evening. Total inlet length from the valve head to end of the trumpet is 380mm :) I'm running equivalent to 130mm trumpets now with the 180mm DTH bodies. Had to trim the inside of the bonnet slightly. I've got the all...

Re: Ph1 172 My friend had a present for me today! Different thickness rear spacers to try out to see what's best with no added camber as I've got 1.8 degrees each side with the standard beam. Aaaand Some flange! So should get everything in place this weekend :)

    Want a clio.. PH1 172 or 172 cup???

The ph1 is 1059kg, ph2 is 1100 or thereabouts and the cup is 1020. But my ph1 is lighter than a cup ;) Yes you can swap bits over. I'm in the process of doing the engine subframe which gives 10mm extra track width either side. I've already got a shorter cup final drive in the gearbox which...

CLIO IV RS - Trophy from page 111

Why's that? I thought it was good. Very quick changes, didn't unsettle the car at all, multiple downshifts worked well and it blips the throttle for you. Very easy to drive fast.
