Abs to non abs (cup) parts list

Cheers Mick. What are the benefits then? I can lock up the ABS so as far as I'm concerned it's just added weight.

Michelin energy saver or Goodyear efficient grip for dci clio?

I'll repeat. Bluresponse. Best all round day to day tyre I've ever used. http://www.oponeo.co.uk/tyre-article/test-of-summer-tyres-2013-size-195-65-r15-v-what-tyres-should-i-buy http://www.mx5nutz.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=127296...

Michelin energy saver or Goodyear efficient grip for dci clio?

I'd get neither and go for Dunlop Bluresponse instead. Awesome all round tyres.

You could do, it certainly wouldn't do any harm.

    Ktec droop

That's the one. I've got some spare silicon hose I can cut up. I'll try that when I get the car back.

    Ktec droop

That's why I was thinking of getting the self amalgamating tape and clamping onto that. Shouldn't slip then I've got a poly mount, that's not the problem. It's the hanger that's the problem.

    Ktec droop

Oh its tight and in the right place where I can get it tight, just over time it slips slightly, only makes it droop 10-15mm lower but its annoying. I'd take a pic if the car was at home. That's not the issue, that's the exhaust mount. The issue is the hanger on the box slipping. Says the man...

    Ktec droop

I should point out it the hanger that goes around the backbox.

Abs to non abs (cup) parts list

Any issues doing this on a ph1 as they run a different abs system don't they?

    Ktec droop

Any methods for stopping the ktec 172 exhausts drooping on the rear hanger? It's as tight as it'll go. My only thought is to put a high temp band of silicon around it, maybe the self amalgamating hose tape.

    ITB'd Road & Track Ph1 Titanium 172

Re: Ph1 172 A bit of a gross exaggeration but I understand your concern. I doubt I'll do much more than 2000 miles this year so I'll be keeping a watchful eye on it.

Re: Ph1 172 Hah! Possibly, I don't know yet. I'll see how it goes. It'll do for the time being. Besides, could be worse, I could run no filter.

The Shoreline or The Barn House in Aberystwyth. The Four Poster or The Bridge in Llangollen. You'll be ok with any of them :)

    VVT solenoid

Having been through the F4R manual I noticed this:- The solenoid valve is closed at rest. It authorises the passage of oil to control the phase shifter in line with the operation of the engine: - if the engine speed is between 1,800 and 6,500 rpm, - if the throttle potentiometer is not at...

    ITB airbox design..

I will do if its not too much, otherwise I can have one made up. I did what would be most effective for the least investment. http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?682060-Ph1-172/page12

About 80-85% duty cycle Tbh if I could find a set of injectors that cheap I'd probably go that route too.

    ITB airbox design..

Ooh I'll have one of them! I've extended my trumpets on the ktec itbs so I've got the equivalent of 130mm now.

This is true, however higher fuel pressure of 4 bar gives enough for 225ish, better fuel atomisation and is only £15.

    Jon's Trackday PH1 172 project thread

Looking good. I'm going to see how mine gets on in a few weeks with the standard injectors but with a 4bar rather than 3bar fuel reg.

Look for a special FRS that's been looked after and money spent on it already. I'd have this over an 335i any day http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=425778
