what car? non RS.. check the anti roll bar link, if you look under the front of the car you will see the Anti roll bar under the bottom arms at each side, there should be a rubber bush that connects it to the underside of the bottom arm, the bolt fails usually and the anti roll bar disconnects...

cheers, its had the wheel replaced at some point, might take it off and keep it good and stick a refurbed one on it. got a new set of stickers coming for the front dampers which are being refurbed and got a new set of rear dampers on order :)
