Re: Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics. Flol. Do tell me how a poorly maintained car will have an effect on cambelt life. Because a well maintained one would have had the cambelf changed on time.

Re: Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics. I mean, I guess those rubber tyres that start cracking when old must not be made of rubber. As it wouldn't deteriorate. Nor would those rubber bushes that deteriorate with time. Or those rubber brake hoses. Or easiest of all, wiped blades never go hard and stop...

    Vvt problem?

Just over the water in Somerset. I've got a few customers who are on my customer base who are from South Wales one as far as Pembrokeshire.

    Vvt problem?

The VVT doesn't activate at 5k anyway. It sounds like it needs a proper diagnostic session. I'm fairly local to South Wales if you need a specialist.

The Southwest monthly big meet at Exeter - 2nd friday of the month - 8:30pm

    Exhaust paste is hideous stuff.

    LY 197 - Street. A39 traffic lights. F1 launch.

Really necessary to drive like you were on the starting grid? Swerving out from your lane to make it past 1 car? I do advise you set £60 aside however, as the way you were driving I doubt you saw the Speed camera can sat in the layby just by that junction.

    Crashed :(

They've done research and found the braking distances to be pretty similar. Brakes may be better nowadays, however cars weights have gone up considerably. The damage isn't far enough away from the junction for him to have braked at the junction. The glass will have fallen off further away from...

remap services in south wales area?

MWM is the most local decent mapper that I'm aware of.

    Crashed :(

But as I'd previously stated, if he pulled out just behind another car heading the opposite direction, the drivers view of the junction would have been obscured.

    Crashed :(

4-5 car lengths is less than the stopping distance from 30mph. You do the math ;)

    Crashed :(

I thought this, but the position of the glass says otherwise.

Bumpers naturally pop out in a crash.

    Crashed :(

I only viewed the pictures on my phone. Now having looked on a PC I'm also of the opinion there is too little damage.

The Southwest monthly big meet at Exeter - 2nd friday of the month - 8:30pm

Monday isn't an issue, I've got a few things in but I'm sure I can accommodate :)

    Crashed :(

I'm sorry, but I disagree. You may think you'd stop by then, and if you we're doing tests, you potentially would stop just after, but that's with you knowing your have to brake. The other driver could've had his mind elsewhere at the time, fatigue, auto pilot etc. 2 car lengths is rougky where...

    Crashed :(

I've only just seen the pictures. At a guess the glass is 45ft from the junction. Say you pulled out and you were doing 10mph avg before the impact. That is 14.66ft/sec. So you were in the road for 3 seconds before the impact. Stopping distance from 30mph is 75 feet. So say you pulled...
