    Sorry yeh, I was referring to it being a replacement rollerbearing effort. Turbo dynamics have a good Reputation for getting out of warranty claims.

    Re: Spax quality issues seemed to have been brushed under the carpet..... How stran Legal is certainly a potential way of resolving it. Look up sales of goods act, "fit for purpose and last a reasonable amount of time" is a quote that you'll be able to use.

    If its roller bearing its a new CHRA. You can't refurb them

    Re: Grey With Trinkets, Russ' 29th RS Clio Have to compare them to the cup ones. Some are longer and I cannot for the life of me remember which is which. As you know some pikey c**t has worked on the cup before I got it and made a complete hash of it.

    Alternator Belt Fitting

    Have you got it on in the correct order? I've never had an issue with the Alt dropped forward.

    Cambelt Kit...

    I offer to change the water pump at no extra labour cost when doing cambelt and aux kit, just explain its £50 now or should it fail it's £200 kind of job. I've had a few where the water pump is starting to feel rough now.

    I did one or 2 ph1's without removing the bumper. Then did a ph2 and removed the bumper and light and never looked back.

    Battery dead after only a few months

    I've had a few in recently that the alternators have been draining the battery.

    I also remove the 13mm bolt at the top of the alternator. This allows it to move forward by about an inch. It can be done without doing this but for the 15 seconds it takes I do it.
