update, car came back from dealership with 2 new tyres driving pretty well, for about 3 days and now its back to its old tricks pulling left hard under braking and then it appears the EBD kicks in and trys to correct it but ends up over correcting it, take your hand of the steeringwheel, brake...
im with you too prefer them on standard wheels, i used to prefer speedlines however! just went off them.
think they look better on standard headlights too, again used to prefer projectors! strange how your opinion changes over time.

im not sure if mark ment from the heat of the exhaust not the heat of applying the vinyl. either way it will be fine ive saw them done before on other cars, diffuser shouldnt get too hot.

personally id be looking at repairing the current engine, plus obviously fitting a new cambelt and aux belt kit on it. which is what the original garage has i assume quoted for, but to have it done properly your looking at not far off twice their quote.

lol yeah i always found it was much keener under 2k rpm when it was unplugged and the cloud in the cars headlights behind was awesome! used to put mine into limp mode every couple of weeks though!!! haha
