I called steve this morning and had a nice drive in the BMW witht the roof off and dropped them off. Just got my delivery of goodies from SMC renault so im just fitting rear discs and pads. I'm taking the car to steve to fir new PAS pump and AUX belt kit.

My dad too them to work but failed to get them out. I was thinking of popping to birchdown or NW tommorow to see if they could press them and tak weld for me. I'm going to be taking my car there to get some work doner but thinking of getting these done before putting them back on. how long...

Best ive had is £550 i'm 28 and have 4 years NCB to go on this car. My 200sx turbo and my BMW 330ci M sport Convertible are both cheaper than this to insure !

Sorted it, your correct it doesnt come through into the boot. I took the backbox off and gripped it from the top. i could get access with the box off. Going to use a stainless nut and bolt as a replacement.

I will come up next time. onlyin wrexham. my clio is still off the road until i do afew more bits to it.

Ive removed 2 out of the 3 but one of them just seems to be spinning. i can only assume that what the bolyis screwed into is rotating ! any ideas how to get it out. theres not alot of room to get anythink above !

Whats the best tool to use ? I have a scorpion system to fit to my clio 172 and i think i will probably have to cut a recess in the bumper possibly. cheers mike

the ballasts and ignitors have an operating life so they will fail eventually, moisture alsoeffects them due to the positioning under the headlamp. Just swap ballast over to see if it works then ignitor etc. if all of that fails its likely to be a popped fuse or broken connector / cabling.

Power steering pump needs replacing ! Thats not a cheap job ! its looking like a £350 job :dapprove: Also need to get a stainless exhaust, Yozza or a BTB . Just need to save some pennies up and decide as i think there a similar price. This car is costing me an arm and leg !

Yeah its the original exhaust, i need a new sleeve. can i only get one of these from renault ? i imagine there not cheap if from renault !
