I havent used my v2's on the track yet so i cant comment and the people who are saying this may not be correct.
Try the car yourself and go from there. Depends on your driving style etc.
Alot of people are using V2's and havent mentione the springs being too soft plus you have the adjustable...
I will phone fred tommorow and get it ordered. The Pas pump replacement will have to wait till next month. Car is only sitting on the drive ! cant believe ive owned a clio a year and its only moved 10 mile !

Re: PAS Pump Fitment time and rough cost to expect ? Wrexham / chester , north west a
ahh rite, that will be fine with me. expensive job just for a leaking pump !
Re: PAS Pump Fitment time and rough cost to expect ? Wrexham / chester , north west a
Think it was £123 for the pump. i got quoted £150 from a place on the net for my pump to be refurbed. dont really know anywhere who refurb pumps. never owned a french car before lol !
Do you have to take the exhaust off and heat shield to drill the 2 holes into the chassis. I was going to drill two holes into the exhaust channel but obviously to fit the stress plates underneath ?
just wondering if i need to remove the exhaust and heat shields
Re: PAS Pump Fitment time and rough cost to expect ? Wrexham / chester , north west a
Not quite but i have a friend who in the renault parts deparment and the price hes quoted for the pump was less than i was quoted for a refurbishment.
Fred what else do i need, new pulley, auxillary belt ...
Has anyone had this carried out ?
What sort of time to complete 2-3 hours ?
I'm going to get a new Pump , Pulley and belt from renault but i think i'm going to take it to get fitted and tentioned correctly.
Any ideas on labour cost for this ?
Unless there is anyone local who fancies...
I'm not bothered about it being noisy as the car is purely for the track and not my day car. Ive heard nothink but good things about the yozza ?
how much are the yozza systems ?
Birchdown where that ?
Ive done the majority of the work on my car but i know if you dont get the tensioning bang on it can take out the cambelt etc ! Ive owned the car a year and it hasnt been on the road yet, the PAS must have been leaking when i got it maybe, its only because ive taken it...
I will be looking to purchase a full system for my clio soon.
Which to go for Ktec or Yozza ?
I doubt it will be this month as it looks like my PAS steering pump needs replacing so that going to cost alot of money for a replacement and to be fitted !
Not sure where to get it fitted...
i think its prbably the bearing because just before it started leaking i did hear a noise when the VVT kicked in and im sure it would do it again if i drove it
