i cant see any visible leaks from the pipes but its leaking on the drive. going to remove the wheel to see if i can see from there. i reckon its from the bearing.
whats the best way to get a good look at the pump without removing the belts etc ?
I need a Full workshop Manual for my Clio 172 as i dont have information.
I have searched on here and the RS tuner link does not work that i found.
also found a website that has bits from a manua.
can anybody help me please.

Just going to check to see if its leaking from the pressure switch all the fluid has gone from the reservoir and it looks really black and dirty around where the switch screws into the pipework ! I hope its just this and not the pump itself !
Cool i will have to take alook on the weekend, its typical ive owned the car a year and had various jobs to do and its just typical that another problem occurs ! I think it probably is the pump but i guess only one way to find out !

Started the car and a horrible screeching noise while trying to turn. Checked the resevoir and it has lost some fluid ! Either the pump is leaking or soemthin related ?
Ive never seen the pump due to the position of it !

Do you have to take the exhaust off and heat shield to drill the 2 holes into the chassis. I was going to drill two holes into the exhaust channel but obviously to fit the stress plates underneath ?

Its amazing what a hammer can do lol, yeah i think the flat head screwdriver technique on a torx bolt would be hard even for superman but he would just get his lazer eyes on the job !
managed to get it out, after thinking of many different things to try, i got a torx bit and a hammer and whacked the torx into the bolt head and hey presto !

Does the stress plate go under the chasis and the bolt through the top of the floor plan ?

I phoned up to change the policy on my Nissan over to the clio 172 and theyve told me then cant insure me on it because its a Sport !!!!!!!!!

I have some sparco seats , subframes and sidemounts.
I also have sparco 4 point harnesses.
The problem is i dont know where to bolt my harnesses.
I realise the rear of harness needs to be bolted where the rear bench was but where do i bolt the other two parts of the harnesses ?

Ive installed my Sparco F300 bucket seats, Sparco subframes and side mounts.
I have sparco harnesses aswell and there are 3 mounting bolts, one on left hand side of seat, one right hand side of seat and one which needs to be bolted underneath rear seats.
There is only one threaded section...
Managed to sort the rear wiper, traced loom back and noticed some green wires had snapped. still cant get the boot to lock though.
I put another bootlock surround and motor on which was 2nd hand of ebay but apparently works so still unsure !
Which part keeps the boot locked ? is it the magnet...
New TDC sensor fitted with new wiring loom.
awaiting stock of powerflex anti roll bar bushes before taking to demon tweeks for alignment.
Got afew more jobs to get done prior to taking for MOT.
Just fitted new boot lock motor, connected up and rear windscreen motor.
Boot lock is still not locking and rear windscreen wiper is moving !

ive fitted the dogbone bushes and move the engine mount abit more towards the front and seems to have more or less cured it. engine mount was in the fully back position so i dont know if the previous owner had had allok as i bought the car with the knocking on the exhaust
Under hard acceleration in 1st and 2nd gear i can hear which i think is possibly the exhaust knocking on the subframe.
If driven normally it doesnt happen so im thinking its excess movement.
Would i be best buying a KTEC uprated engine mount ? I which one would it be most likely the upper...
