I've bought two sets of these now, one was off a Megane and didn't fit so I sold them. These are off a Scenic and are too big as well, but I thought Scenics had the same fitment.
It's the bolt itself that's a little bit too wide to go into the hub.
Is it just that they are the wrong size, or...
Was a nice sunny day, didn't get any of the karting itself because I was doing it! My car is now lowered 60mm instead of being on sportlines and getting 'should be lowered!!!!!!!' comments :rasp: Sam really wanted me to post pictures of him using a jetwash too, so here we go...
Today... can't remember the name of the motorway :o you'll know who you are though as I went past you at a silly speed.
Had a few passangers in I think.
'frame number' which I assume means chassis number? It's for a modified vehicle report form for my insurance. They say you find it in the engine bay or under the carpet in the driver's footwell, just not sure where to look as I can't see it at a first glance.
Cheers!
Racing blue cup with stripes on the M60 this morning, looked completely standard.
Silver 172 in Farnworth at around 13.45 down a side street on the phone :nono:
1) Rear middle seatbelt not locking into buckle - this is the black one that nobody ever uses, when I put it in it just doesn't lock and comes back out. Any suggestions?
2) Rear lights = fucked! When the sidelights are on and I indicate, the other lights alternate in going dimmer and brighter...
If I had one standard and one LED (aftermarket FK ones), would they treat it as normal or laugh and tell me to go away? :(
Problem is that only one of my standard and one of my LED ones work atm, and MOT is today!
My car is lowered 60mm on 17" wheels (with 25mm spacers), but when I take a corner there's an almighty scraping/catching noise.
God knows what it is, but I'm wondering how I can test it? It only happens when cornering so it's a bit impossible...
(The wheels don't catch anything on full lock...
From the front passenger's side... how is it done? They are known to be a b*****d to get off, but I've bought a new one so I need to. It seems to be completely stuck to the hub... any ideas?
I've just fitted my Apex front struts and the top mounts seem to be very 'unsecure'. It also make a big scraping noise when I go round corners. When I turn the wheels, the top mount turns with it and lifts up slightly. Pics of top mounts when on full lock:
As you can see they don't fit into...
shall I get for my 2003 1.2 16v? It's started spluttering again so I'm after a cheap, quick and easy fix.
Also, are these easy to fit or would I need a garage to do it?
I feel a right prick posting this, mainly because I don't think these shocks were meant to fit my car or I've done something ridiculously stupid, but wtf has happened here?
I screwed it into the hub, put the spring in and let the car down slowly (so now it's back on its wheels) and now these...
Mine seems to have torn in half almost, at the bit where it plugs into the hub, so was wondering:
- are they easy to replace?
- expensive?
- does anyone have a part number, or know anywhere other than Renault that will sell them
Cheers in advance!
The car is in my dad's name atm, if he fills out the form and puts today's date on and sends it to the DVLA but we don't get the V5C back for a couple of weeks, will I still be the registered keeper from today's date?
I have a vague idea but I just want to confirm what would happen if I'm in any kind of accident.
If I got TPF&T, would they only pay out if;
- my car was stolen
- my car was set on fire
- I crashed into someone else (they would pay for the other persons damage only)
- someone else crashed into...
I know this has been done a few times before but this thread is more specific.
I was with Quinn-Direct and they only charge for 'non-performance-enhancing modifications' so you can basically do what you want as long as it doesn't increase the power.
I was wondering if anyone else was like...
