Yeah, as Danny said there's anti oxidants in the anti freeze which prevents rust inside the engine. God knows what it's like inside that Fiesta's engine because the water was purely brown. Looked awful.

Lad at work ran his fiesta on just water for months. After a while the water turned brown and looked awful, then it developed a leak and covered the engine bay in this brown coloured water.

Yeah, wipers need to come off so you can get the scuttle panel off. Not sure on the 1*2s but when I replaced mine (172 Cup) it was a fairly simple job. Believe it's abit more difficult on the 1*2s.

Just gave them a ring. It's an unlimited mileage policy and the only restrictions they have is on 3.5k and 5k mileage policies, so it doesn't matter if I go over my estimated mileage. Happy days.

Did you buy them new? If so, get in touch with Koni as I'm pretty sure they have a life time guarantee.

Just wondering if anyone has ever or at least tried to alter their estimated annual mileage in their insurance policies. If so, did it effect the cost of the premium at all? I may end up covering more mileage than expected and exceeding the mileage I told my current insurers I'd cover in the year.

Always liked then from when I 1st saw the pictures of it and still do like them. Really do prefer them to the 197s.
