What is it that actually causes this to happen?
Only asking because my mates 106 Gti does it regular and he doesn't know why either. It generally does it when he changes gear at high rpm, it makes a loud bang with a lick of flame from his tail pipe usually followed by a bit of black smoke...
Tried wiggling the wires under the drivers/passengers seat? Mine occasionally does it but the SERV light comes on aswell as the airbag light. Messing with the wires under the seat knocks the lights off for me.
Lol I had mine up for sale for a while but couldn't bring myself to sell it in the end, although it's a pain in the arse at times with various things breaking and going wrong.
My view on Novas has dramatically changed just recently, I use to hate them with a passion but the more and more I see...
Yeah belts will need doing if they've not been done already. Fred on here is based in Brum, or you could make a trip over to Birchdown in North wales for the belts.
The standard cloth seats are comfy and fairly supportive but yeah they do look very basic and ugly. I was thinking about replacing them with half leather seats but I've decided I'll replace them with bucket seats if I do. As for the brakes, if they fail to stop you, you've always got the...
Chances are Dan will be correct on this but I'd still ring the place you bought it from on the off chance they'll rectify the problem with the damaged belt. If they won't I'd do as what as been previously said in this thread and take it to a specialist.
Some cracking scenery photos there and nice motors. The black V6 was that same V6 that was at a drifting day or something recently posted on here? Recognise the wheels.
I was contemplating coming to this but I didn't fancy getting stranded over there in case my dodgy starter motor decided to...
I had a custom de-cat made up for mine, also have a k-tec system fitted but I decided to make the journey down to pro-speed. I think I paid £75 for it.
I've never had a problem having no ABS, it's pretty difficult to lock the wheels to be honest unless you stamp the brakes really. Each to their own really but aslong as you're not stupid or reckless it shouldn't really be an issue. Insuring a Cup can be a pain in the arse though due to alot of...
There's a guide on here just recently been posted up on how to do it but you need to be a full member to view it, might be worth paying the £10 subscription fee so you can see it?
Wouldn't the splitter at the front be sufficient though?
Yeah I thought it'd be the struts that'd be in the eyeline, it'd annoy the f**k out of me, although I'm not a racing driver :P lol
Well as Fredy said. The rest of the car looks "very" serious but I can't understand why that big spoiler is bolted to the front of the car lol.
Also imagine trying to race (which the car is obviously for) with that thing in your eyeline constantly.
Yes but with the "Spoon" logo on them. A must have accessory and well worth the £82 price tag.
Edit: Just noticed you said "brades" and that is says "brades" in the advert lol
