As above, just curious due to the lack of driver aids on the Cup. I've never seen or heard of anyone doing it but surely someone must have?
Edit: ignore the spelling fail in the title it's suppose to be "ever" not "every"
+1
You'll have a larger range of potential buyers, alot of people are looking for a "standard" car. Also a modded car can give the image that the car's has been ragged about.
Only asking because I've been getting the infamous knocking noise and it's steadily getting louder. Got a feeling it's the mount under the battery because I've had a look at the dogbone mount and it doesn't appear worn/damaged. The mount to the offside of the engine bay looks fairly new and the...
If you don't have ago at it yourself though you'll never learn ;) lol
I know what you mean though mate, complicated things I let someone else who knows what they're doing do it.
Edit: Don't you get fitting instructions with the kit though?
Lol! Stupid thing is I've had mine off about 5-6 times now and know how easy it is to drop them down the engine bay. I normaly loosen them both off then tip the guard up as I'm taking it off. It was raining today so I was rushing and dropped the nut and socket.
Can't see it being anymore difficult than fitting a "viper" as an example. As long as you have a torx bit to remove the screws in your airbox then it should be an easy job.
I bet most of the one's who don't rate them are put off by the price of the things. They do look pretty in the engine bay though and are suppose to make a good noise when nailing it.
Not to sure what you mean, I had to jack the car up and undo the plastic cover that sits in to the bottom of the bumper as my 10mm socket fell down as well, I could see it resting on that cover.
Been removing my fuel rail guard alot recently as I'm in the process of polishing up, anyway while removing the nuts that hold it on this morning I managed to drop one down in to the engine bay (obviously never seeing that again). My Fuel rail guard is only held on with one nut now, although it...
Out of those 3 I'd go for the continentals. Toyos are rubbish in the wet and wear out quickly, I wasn't keen on the Goodyears. Continentals were the best tyres I've experienced until I got the PE2's which I have now.
Jamie? was the throttle boddied Zs you're having at Stockport meet/cruise on Thursday? Sure I saw it there, the bonnet was exactly the same on the one I saw anyway.
Sites like these do make me laugh, I bet the majority of the idiots who post complaints on there have points on their licences and hog the middle/outside lane on the motorway. Bunch of hypocrites the lot of them.
Mine have just started doing it, (green stuff pads). I've read on here, taking out the pads and putting copper grease on the backs of them can cure the squeaking.
